Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, making his now regular appearance on CNN's morning show this a.m., said he had heard John McCain's stirring declaration that "today, we are all Georgians." Saakashvili's take: "Well, very nice, you know, very cheering for us to hear that, but OK, it's time to pass from this. From words to deeds."
Josh Marshall notes that because he's not president, McCain isn't really in a position to do much word-to-deed action. (Is that the audacity of hope on Saakasvhili's part?) I got a laugh out of the Georgian president inadvertently turning McCain's anti-Obama line of attack (all words, no deeds) back against him.
