What Obama's Attack on the Supreme Court Means

The NLRB's General Counsel (chief prosecutor) authorized a complaint against Boeing. I would say that complaint was based on standard grounds; others disagree. Either way, it made no difference. The complaint resulted in a settlement between Boeing and the IAM. Plus, the five member NLRB itself, never even saw the matter. So how could it have been renegade?

And the effect of the Boeing complaint and subsequent settlement on the economy? No one has ever shown any that I know about. If you are aware of any such study, you should point to it.

You know so little that you don't even add "" around "deep fried". You were quoting from link.

We are in a heat cycle now. And naturally the re-occuring event you yell the sky is falling. RECORD TEMPERATURES HIGH AND LOW HAPPEN. Check the history.

Give me A BREAK. PROVE YOUR LONG HISTORY PROOF. NOT by decades...

2012 already brings record-breaking heat in U.S. April 09, 2012 by CBNews.com (AP) WASHINGTON - It's been so warm in the United States this year, especially in March, that national records weren't just broken, they were deep-fried. Temperatures in the lower 48 states were 8.6 degrees above normal for March and 6 degrees higher than average for the first three months of the year, according to calculations by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. That far exceeds the old records. The magnitude of how unusual the year has been in the U.S. has alarmed some meteorologists who have warned about global warming. One climate scientist said it's the weather equivalent of a baseball player on steroids, with old records oblit

Do explain to me how "The Supreme Court is a partisan Republican organization" ? When ruling came down on Roe v Wade ? Is it when you don't like their rulings ???

I wonder why republicans are so stupid. For years they have railed against judicial activism. Over and over ad nauseum. If I had a nickel for every time I had to listen to some republican moron rant about judicial activism I would be a wealthy man. Wh Are republican so unaware of themselves. They are always obliviously contradicting themselves. The President talks about judicial activism and this twit goes bannanas, forgetting the nonstop Republican bitching and wailing and gnashing of teeth because of judicial activism for at least 60 years. And he expects everyone else to forget as well. The republicans really have become a party of stupid

people. It seems they really will adopt any positon to advance their agenda. They have become the etch-a-sketch-party. Whoever wrote this is terribly

shallow or is willing to say anything in order to attack the President. He should read more. Only a gullible illiterate fool could. Write such a completely oblivious piece . Did he graduate from high school. Does he pay attention to the news? He resembles Rip Van Winkle. Where has he been for the past Fifty years? Comatose? This is the kind of mush I would expect from Sarah Palin ( a republican vice presidential candidate). I have never seen this nitwit complain about republicans complaining about judicial activism which goes on incessantly. And republicans listen to this stuff. They must be stupid.

“Now they will condemn thousands of Americans to a death sentence by denying them healthcare. These Republicans just love to kill people. They are stone cold murdering torturers.”

Milton Chambers of IL

WHAT a uneducated remark (TRYING TO WRITE NICE).

CBO reports America can not afford bumacare. This is not issue of bumcare or NO HEALTH CARE. AFTERALL, we have a passed bumacare now with little in effect NOW. We offered health care plan at time of bumacare passage, which if passed, would be in FULL FORCE long ago. THUS, the “ stone cold murdering torturers” are Democrats who passed bumacare that take MORE THAN FOUR YEARS to go into FULL SERVICE...

I see no problems with Mr. Roff's affirmations, sentence structures, predications, or positions of reference.

Perhaps you should re-enroll into English 101 (Basic Composition)

....but this time, pay attention!

OK, so the writer's first premise is that Obama attacked the SC because he expects to lose. And then the writer opines, "What he has not yet realized, apparently, is that a defeat by the judicial branch puts the ball firmly back in his court, to his profound disadvantage." So which one is it? If he expects to lose, then he certainly realizes that he will be at a disadvantage when the opinion comes out -- so he's trying to hit first, and get out ahead of it. You know what, I'm tired of stupid writing like this and journalist hacks who should not have the responsibility of communicating to the public. Get another job, Roff...this is a serious topic that deserves better.

David C of DC 1:53AM April 06, 2012

It is the independence of the Judicial Branch that keeps us free, but King Obama wants to rule that branch too.

He is openly attacking the legitimacy and process of the Supreme Court itself, not just the potential adverse ruling. That’s dangerous ground, and not something presidents have done. He is not saying “I think you are wrong.” He is saying “Who the hell are you to decide this?”

That’s some breathtaking arrogance right there,

....and I hope SCOTUS hands him his a--.

It's almost as if this article doesn't think cynicism enters politics; it's a bit too generous.
