First of all Mr. Roff, since when is a committed organization to a ultra-conservative point of view "non-partisan? Secondly, and the part that makes me upset with you and the editors of US News, is that it is not I.D. but the kind of I.D. that is required that is prohibitive. So your article is about political positioning not about the law or even voting. So much for non-partisan!

Thirdly, making law is about preventing crime and/or punishing crime that has a SERIOUS possibility of taking place or has taken place. The history of the crime in question suggests that is not the case.

Fourthly, if you and your organization support "liberty" as you say then increasing the number voting should be you main criteria.

Lastly, I suspect that you did not serve your country in the military, as I and many others did, becasue the kind of freedom you want to "Let ring" does not suggest the kind of courage it takes to make a great country.
