Wow!!!

There are as many hundreds of links regardless if I Google:

1) Obama Blames

2) Obama Blunders

3) or Obama Bloopers.

Hey! .....this is really bad!! It's no wonder this country is so skr'd up!!!

The White House is going to be in trouble when this information spreads like the lies from Ms. Munoz regarding Catholic Women. What happens when the country finds out that what they have been told for the past 2-3 weeks regarding the number of women who actually use contraceptives is wrong. And not just a little bit wrong...

And it takes a blogger to find it out. How typical!

You do realize that the Republican party currently has no one remotely resembling Ronald Reagan, don't you? From what I have read, the vast majority of Catholics don't follow their own Church teaching about birth control so I'm highly dubious that many of them will change whom they would vote for over this.

You do realize 30 years have passed since the culture wars, right? Just look at support for gay marriage and birth control then, and look at support for them now. This is a battle you cannot hope to win.

A week ago, things appeared much less certain for the president -- he was uncompromising and insensitive to religious institutions. Now, it is moderate Republicans jumping ship on the GOP as Blunt and Rubio overreach and turn what could have been a rebuke on Obama into a political landmine for every Republican in House and Senate.

Excellent analysis and summary of the current controversy. Archbishop Timothy Dolan deserves commendation for defending the tenets of the Catholic Church. President Obama needs to back down. The HHS directive is an infringement on the 1st Amendment, the constitutionally guaranteed right of religious freedom -- notwithstanding the spectrum of opinions on contraception, reproductive rights, abortion, etc.
