Obama Made Things Worse While GOP Wants to Make Them Better

Peter Roff is correct about his information but I believe he is wrong in his analysis. The Republican plans will never work. He represents the rich and there view of an easier life. We have always had a progressive tax system. In fact, in the last 30 years, under our economic policies it has gotten flatter and the US had gotten into more problems.

What absolute drivel. Tax breaks for corporations and 1%ers won't create one job. Corps are sitting on trillions of dollars that aren't creating jobs. 1%ers with fat bank accounts aren't creating jobs.

If giving 1%ers and corporations tax breaks created jobs, GW Bush would have left us with a labor shortage. Instead, the economy was bleeding 700,000 jobs when Barack Obama became president.

Burying more money in the bank accounts of the wealthy stops it from circulating through the economy and actually kills jobs.

I see the "die-hard-headed" Dems STILL refuse to read.....

"House Has Passed 22 Bipartisan Jobs Bills, & Counting" November 06, 2011:

http://www.speaker.gov/blog/?postid=267827

On ABC's This Week, Speaker Boehner highlighted the 22 bipartisan House-passed jobs bills that would remove government barriers to job growth (by stopping unnecessary regulations, preventing tax hikes on small businesses, and more) but remain stalled in the Democrat-controlled Senate. Instead of more of the same failed 'stimulus' spending, these bills - all part of the Republican Plan for America's Job Creators - free job creators from government obstacles that prevent them from hiring new workers.

These non-reading, misinformed responders HAVE to be the usual "entitlists"!

Says “8 years of mismanagement”.

I would say 8 years of Bill Clinton was totally bad. Newt did force Clinton to sign our balance budget. Newt cleaned up Clinton's government well.

Those BAD TEA, tell me, what did they do ?

You lost a lot of BAD DEMOCRATS & gained FINE TEA Congress members Nov. 2, 2010. If, for your political happens, need Tea out of office, you have a rude awakening coming. Tea is embedded now. There are TEA Democrats. Check vote on obama's jobs bill and you will see.

Bill Clinton's housing plan caused recession and Democrats fought Bush when Bush tried to stop recession. Get your facts straight May of ID:

What reality are you from>? Obama politics are horrible but he is in a morass made by 8 years of mismanagement. The fact that we didn't slide into the 2cd Great Depression is a minor miracle.

While there are plenty of great Republicans left who actually love our nation the teabaggers are dragging us all down. Even if we manage to get Obama out we will be facing a bigger challenge of cleansing the GOP of teabaggers.

Linda of IN_ Is Democrat controlled Senate saying NO

Try looking in Harry Reid's lock box. There you will find 15 bills passed by House. No vote in Senate. No revision of bill. Nothing that is normal done. Jusr sitting in Senate...

Bill Hedges of MO 5:36PM November 05, 2011

Just how well are the republicans performing?? I see NO action but NO!

Kind of forgetting a few facts haven't you ???

1.“So I was anxious to hear the GOP plan. What was it?”

Try looking in Harry Reid's lock box. There you will find 15 bills passed by House. No vote in Senate. No revision of bill. Nothing that is normal done. Jusr sitting in Senate. Democrat controlled Senate.

2.“lower taxes, reregulation, yada yada.”

Must be good idea, obama worked it out and signed extention of tax cuts. By the way, lower taxes for lower end & higher end.

What deregulation ? EPA popping those things out like pop corn popping. Obama did agree with us and stopped one. Reason_ Job loss.

3.“We've been lowering taxes, deregulating and making rich people (sorry, job creators) wealthier now for twenty years”

Actually since John F. Kennedy. When LONGEST BULL MARKET began.

Bush actually wanted regulation but Democrats voted it down. Wanted to regulate Banks and stop recession. Democrats stopped that and thus recession. Maybe you would like to read about that:

“Pelosi Caught In Major Lie- Says Bush Didn't Warn Congress About Financial Crisis… Records Show He Warned Congress 17 Times in 2008 Alone”. “32 months of high unemployment and an economy in the dolrums”

4.Get a education about who did what causing recession:

“Democrats caused the recession and Republicans tried to stop it”
