Not surprised that the national media would try an early swipe at Cain despite a total lack of evidence. He obviously is the most feared candidate and now that he is #1 they are running scared.

Had to love the Cain campaign's "smoking" ad and how they baited the politically correct media with a hook they couldn't resist - their campaign chief of staff smoking. Now that was genius! Scored millions in free major media advertising. Still reeling in the benefits of that one.

Galactic Cannibal would know about smoke and fire having lit the proverbial "fat one" to make his point. A salacious article does not constitute smoke. Smoke happens IF those women come foreward. I doubt that will happen. This trumped up story has the same flavor as another story we all heard about. You remember, about an accomplished black man by the name of Clarence and a fabricated story involving an Anita Hill and a random hair on a soda pop can. What was it he said? Oh yeah, "This is a circus. It's a national disgrace. And from my standpoint, as a black American, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas."

Different name, same game.

Did you read Peter Roff article ??? If you did read Peter was referring to period BEFORE “IMPEACHMENT HEARING”. Peter wrote “The mainstream media’s record on issues like this is spotty, to put it mildly, and they have a lot to answer for. They followed the Democratic Party line from Gennifer Flowers to Paula Jones to Monica Lewinsky and beyond in an effort to help President Bill Clinton and, had it not been for Matt Drudge, they would have gotten away with it.”

Mikeee Wrote “Edwards was in the media for more than two years”. Again you are talking AFTER THE FACT. Peter wrote “They ( mainstream media) also did everything they could to bury the Sen. John Edwards "love child" story until the National Enquirer made it impossible to ignore. ” Then came the "more than two years".

After Mikee does injustice to Peter's article, Mikee concludes “What a horrible article, light on facts, high on the very same innuendo it pretends to rail against”. Mikee, Peter writings is above your in this case. Above your grade possible.

I suppose inability to digest information correctly is how a liberal is born...

That first sentence IS as far as I got in that comment. There is smoke without fire. I had it happen in the wiring of my car.

After all the stories about the then candidate obama that were completely ignored by the press they decided it's time to start reporting again, especially if they are conservative, no matter the color of their skin.

Another sad day for the journalist and the news industry. And this is a NON-story.

What is really sad is the National Esquire is more reliable than the MMS.

CLINTON FACED AN IMPEACHMENT HEARING IN THE HOUSE, and Edwards was in the media for more than two years.

There is never smoke without fire. And the problem I have with H.Cain denying the accusation of sexual harassment is. That two women unrelated ,made separate charges of sexual harassment against H. Cain, and were then paid off by his organization and let go. Now I did not fall off the cabbage truck yesterday, I feel that the old cliche applies here .There is never smoke without fire" And those two women should come forward and tell their story to the public. After all H.Cain is running for job to be Pres of the US
