Obama's Attack on Boehner and McConnell Falls Flat

Obama controls the largest group of customers in the country: The various departments of the executive branch. For example, many of the companies servicing the executive branch (DOD, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, IRS, etc) when awarded contracts, quoted IT labor rates for AMERICAN WORKERS. Theses contract winners then turn around and sub-contract to other companies who hire foreign workers. The contractor then pockets the labor charge differential. This happens with IT, call centers, accounting, etc.

Obama can create hundreds of thousands of high paying jobs overnight by requiring all contractors and subcontractors to hire US CITIZENS.

The contracts are already set up to pay labor at the American rate.

An executive order requiring this would not cost taxpayers a dime, would instantly onshore thousands upon thousands of high paying jobs which in turn would create buying demand that woul ripple across our economy.

Obama needs to Executive Order "AMERICAN CITIZENS" only for federal contracts. He should do this now.
