Hey Ugly American, stop talking nonsense about the Hispanic voting bloc. You must be a racist from the deep South. I am not depending on President Obama to pass the immigration reform. I will support him no matter the situation. Vote with your precious perry because the Republicans like yourself are just ignorant.

Hispanics don't seem to understand what they are doing. They are threatening to, by action or inaction, work directly against their own interests.
They overstate their power as a voting block.
While the Census put their numbers at 15% of the population, a Pew poll suggests only 40% of those are actually US citizens. From those, not all are pro-amnesty. About 33% vote Republican.
The rest are foreign nationals who can't vote in US elections.
That puts the total probable Democratic voters among them at about 4% of the population.
The "Ethnic Solidarity" side wants nothing less than comprehensive immigration reform and full amnesty. For numerous reasons, that is not realistic.
Partisan opposition has kept Obama from passing even things the Republicans liked.
He's done the best he can to keep his promise to Hispanics through executive orders and regulatory maneuvers. He put Hilda Solis in charge of the Labor Department. Obama has done all he can get away with.
If they stay home on election day or vote Republican out of some sort of misguided show of pride Latinos will be working strongly against the interests that are so dear to them.
So unless that's really what they want, they can do like the rest of America, accept what Obama has given them, vote for him again and hope for better next term.
Enough lip about not voting for him. Do they really want to hurt themselves?
It's really about damn time Latinos paid attention to how the system works and give the man some credit.
