Is a perfect candidate for people who like Sarah Palin but don't like one of those smart intellectual types.

Kelly of IN is a progressive with her facts all distorted by left-wing media and thug unions.

Bachman has the right message but she has an uphill battle with the biased, George Soros financed media and other organizations doing all they can to make this a third world country.

Obama has added $4 trillion to the national debt in just two years!

Look at what taxing the rich has done in Oregon and New Jersey. The tactic does not work.

Bachmann says the most outrageous and dumb things on a regular basis. Anyone who has to continually defend herself as a 'serious candidate' has a problem. Bachmann is the latest GOP flavor of the month, but this bittersweet flavor will melt as fast as Trump ice cream cone. Its not just her constant nonsense and gaffes, her hypocrisy is starting to come out now, too.

Bachmann apparently is living high on the hog with taxpayer's money for someone running on her passionate hate of the federal government and paying taxes. She and her husband have been collecting hundred of thousands in federal pork. Farm welfare and lavish training subsidies. Bachmann make a living as a tax accountant based on working with and around government rules, no doubt helping clients take advantage of tax loopholes and avoiding support of this great country like its some kind of plague. Don't forget Bachmann is a federal employee collecting a pay check from out tax dollars with the best benefit package around, and she is sure not trying to cut her own perks

Thin skinned Republicans are claiming Bachmann is victim. Oh no, the media is after her. Its the same rant we heard in the defense of Palin and Gingrich. Yet Bachmann, Palin and Gingrich are some of the most vicious hatemongers out there. We should pity them because the media questions their wild-eyed crazy claims and insulting rants? Sorry playing the victim card doesn't work.

1. “A winning issue for a Republican candidate would be a proposal to reduce the National Debt without eliminating Medicare or reducing Medicaid.”

Check my link in previous comment of mine, barry to reduce Doctor pay & hospital by $$$ 15 trillion. Don’t forget barry took what $$$ 500 billion from medicare. barry adds millions of people to medicare and medicaid with little funding for short period of time. Do explain the harm Ryan plan does to medicare & medicaid compared to barry’s way.

2. “The "secret" $600 trillion Derivatives Market which most Americans have never heard of presents an opportunity to pay off the National Debt... ”

Gee, what would these rich people do ? Take the trades OVERSEAS ? “Secret” ? Hardly !!! It is a “secret” to many Americans that Joe Biden is Vice President.

Those people already pay their fair share. How about the 50-60 % of people that pay none. Use largest share of government services.

3. “Republicans need to dial back from the looser position on the Ryan Budget that voters will soundly reject”.

Is not “voters” that will put down Ryan plan, it would be Senate that would have to do. Now voters did vote out many Democrats that was for obamacare. Few who voted for obamacare ran on that fact. Most ran away. I expect Congress members who voted for Ryan plan will run on it and explain the Ryan Plan. barry and Pelosi both have failed to explain obamacare as they promised to do. By the way, polls were against obamacare...

A winning issue for a Republican candidate would be a proposal to reduce the National Debt without eliminating Medicare or reducing Medicaid.

The "secret" $600 trillion Derivatives Market which most Americans have never heard of presents an opportunity to pay off the National Debt without cuts to Medicare benefits. A small 0.5% transfer fee when these billion dollar contracts execute would raise over a half trillion dollars yearly in addition to any other deficit reduction measures we take. See How to Pay Off the National Debt by Kainz on amazon or barnesandnoble.com.

This does involve a new tax on people who trade Derivatives - but it is not a TAX RATE INCREASE on income, just a fee for those who engage in the highly profitable market for these financial instruments. Consumers pay a transfer fee as sales tax when they purchase shoes or TVs, but hedge funds pay no such fee when they transact these high cost investment deals. This campaign issue is sure to gain enormous free publicity to whomever broaches it first in the public arena.

Republicans need to dial back from the looser position on the Ryan Budget that voters will soundly reject. It is a huge oportunity for Mr. Romney or Ms. Bachmann to distinguish their campaign from those who have drunk the Kool-Aide and dropped off the cliff.

Michele Bachmann not only apologized for her "error", but in essence, she was right:

UPDATE: The Washington Times reports that Bachmann's camp addressed her remarks to Fox News in a statement saying, "John Wayne is from Iowa, his parents lived in Waterloo." CNN reports, "But according to the Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, the actor's parents did live in the city at one point."

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/06/27/michele-bachmann-john-wayne_n_885368.html

Inasmuch as John Wayne's comment below, liking the liberal dem camp as spectators at the Reno "Hot August Nights", his analogy is right on the money!

The abstract pittance these liberal morons keep regurgitating is unblievable to say the very least. Like JW, I'll certainly be happy when Obama is thrown out in 2012, then we can begin to shovel their liberal BS back into the septic tank where it belongs and initiate the rebuilding of America to where we need to be.

Some of the writers here seem to express themseles in a way that shows more raw emotion and direspect than thoughtful presentation of opposing views...

1. Liberal Scum

2.Sycophanitc press

3. incompetent fraud Obama

4. launching his career at a terrorists house or going to a racist church

Clearly these expressions have nothing to do with the subject matter being discussed....and they are rife with stereo-tyes that demonstrate the laziness of people who do not wish to discuss individual points or issues. Instead - they use standard tactic of attempting to discredit a person by lumping them into a group that is presented as distasteful. "all liberals are..." " all in the media are..." "the president is a fraud..." "the president is associated with terrorists and racists..."

The fact is that most of us have a unique mixture of perspectives. Unless you are a "follower" who has no opinions except those you are told to have, you will not be able to claim that "all XXXXX are..." in any category.

My hope is that some day we'll see all comments dealing with issues or wit instead of snarky sound bites that serve no purpose other than to irritate.

CBS is already throwing below-the-belt punches at Bachmann:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/06/28/politics/main20074921.shtml

Makes me wonder what will happen to CBS and the other lamestream media B.S.er's after Obama is thrown out of office next year ....For Sale, Cheap??

I say this as I see the comment's numbers that follow each CBS's news articles are dwindling to, maybe, a couple of hundred, while like-articles on Fox News receive thousands upon thousands of comments. So many, that after I finish one comment that takes a minute to keyboard, there are already 30-40 comments ahead of me!

Frankly, I've grown weary of viewing the lamestream media. I believe CBS, ABC, CNN, and maybe MSNBC also will go down the tubes if they don't wake up and smell the "business coffee"!
