With the GOP in Power the Media No Longer Cares About Civility

Civility is not only for those in 'gated' communities. I wouldn't know about that, I don't live in one. Civility simply means being respectful of other people's opinions.
Making petty, insulting and degrading comments here, or in life generally, says a lot about the person who makes such comments. Sure, there is a great deal of anger in America, in the world. It only makes matters worse when people contribute more to that.
As a follower of Christ's message, I know how he behaved. He was kind and understanding, though he had little tolerance for the so called righteous people of his time. If someone calls himself a Christian, doesn't that mean following what Christ taught?

There are people who compare both Bush & barry to Hitler. If valid reasons are given to substantiate, well, so be it. How can you justify saying “They are NOT sane, rational people” ? You are not the sole judge of “Rational, Mainstream Americans”.

The Republican Congress Voted to Kill Medicare last week, while giving away tax cuts for the rich and deregulation of Wall Street. Its a done deal, the GOP voted Medicare out of existence.
Throwing all pretense of civility, Republicans have declared war on working Americans. Your Grandma will be begging on the street corner for her healthcare if these jerks get their way, and if not you are going to be picking up the tab to keep Grandma alive.
If its any indication with Paul Ryan getting booed at his own town hall meetings, it isn't going go down without a fight. We don't have take it from this overreaching elitist Republicans, who seem to only be working for the billionaires.
Find out who from your state voted to kill Medicare and let's work to kick these bums out of office.

as to the lack of civility,i would argue it comes from the malcontents on both ends of the political spectrum.this especially true when the country is in a state of turmoil,as it is at this time.
till the country get,s back on track,and the mood of a majority of the people improves,this trend will continue.
