House Votes to Defund Planned Parenthood Over Abortion

Planned Parenthood just doesn't get it.

Pregnant minors who come to them are victims/survivors of statutory rape.

One of the saddest aspect of every abortion performed on a minor is that the second child patient, a little boy-child or girl-child, is lethally attacked by doctors who treat him or her as a piece of problematical rubbish, of no value, as 'a problem' who, if allowed to live, will complicate his or her mother's life and place intolerable demands on the community.

Since abortion is an act of lethal violence, albeit in a medical setting, it is a totally inappropriate response to offer the child victims/survivors of stautory rape a service that comprises per se another attack on her physical integrity, this time an act of medicalized violence in which there are two victims, the hurting mother and her own aborted child.

When an abused minor tells the news that she is going to have a baby, what she really wants and needs (and is entitled to receive) is an immediate and whole-hearted welcome for her baby. She needs a firm promise that help will be there for her and her child both now and for the long run.

It is no longer acceptable for Planned Parenthood to evade responsibility for aborting these minors, victims of statutory rape, before sending them back into the same abusive situation in which the child became pregnant.
