Federal Judge Declares Obamacare Unconstitutional

We could repeal all the laws for the last 30 years which have just created a complicated, overinflated, out of control, unaffordable federal government, if I had my way. The common people's paychecks have gone down and we have little or nothing to look forward to, being choked to death financially by our own government. We the people are paying for thousands of pork barrel projects voted in by legislatures over the last 30 yrs just like the Egyptians had the Israelites build the pyramids, the Romans took money from the countries they conquered to build the colloseum in Rome, merry old England built a huge navy to create the British Empire, and now here we are at the premises of our own demise. I hope the Tea Party Republicans can turn back history, but America is full of unaccountable, selfish, greedy people and I think it's doubtful that we will be able to prevail. That does not mean we shouldn't give it our all and try. With God's help anything is possible!

The economy, health care, death tax, GAS PRICES! you have obama to thank for all this.He has gone to the extreme of taking your money, and your rights. How much longer must we put up with this clown. He is going to run this country into the ground. he has managed to put this country into and economic crises, and keeps digging a deeper whole. what about the birth certificate, did we all forget about that? what are we allowing this man to do to our future, our children's future? With the way things are headed i would not want to bring kids into this world. Its all going to get worse too. what is one positive thing that obama has done? I know bush was not the best, but at least he kept us from going off the deep end. If our country does not have a major turn around soon, then I may as well leave the country. where we are headed is not the real U.S. If something does not change, we may become a socialist country. think hard about who you vote for next election people.

Is normal to provide evidence with link(s) substantiating your charges.

Otherwise you are spitting into the wind, getting yourself all wet..

I am concerned, however, that this Federal judge has been paid money from specific health businesses. I do think that judges must demonstrate complete non-partisan behavior in their rulings. I am equally concerned about the U.S. Supreme Court Justices who have and do contribute(d) to political parties.

Having or not having health insurance is a personal choice. As with all choices, you are responsible for your own actions and must live with it. Or die for it.

Why strike down minimum care in hospitals for those without insurance and/or can’t pay ? You act like a sore possible loser. All or nothing for you. Wait, you wish us to do.

Rush says “It means that a nation as powerful as ours is powerless to stop the greed for the for-profit health-care system ”.

Much of our system IS not for profit. Republicans have a better plan to reduce cost. I’ll ignore your liberal “greed” philosophy:

“BREAKING: CBO Says Repealing ObamaCare Would Reduce Net Spending by $540 Billion”

By Philip Klein on 1.7.11 @ 1:56PM

“The Congressional Budget Office, in an email to Capitol Hill staffers obtained by the Spectator, has said that repealing the national health care law would reduce net spending by $540 billion in the ten year period from 2012 through 2021. That number represents the cost of the new provisions, minus Medicare cuts. Repealing the bill would also eliminate $770 billion in taxes. It's the tax hikes in the health care law (along with the Medicare cuts) which accounts for the $230 billion in deficit reduction.“

I like your thinking. However obamacare does not rise to your conclusions. Lesser court rulings affirmed Constitutionality. Issue will not be decided until it reaches United States Supreme Court it appears.

If ruled unconstitutional no one will be booted out. I like your grit. Other bills been ruled unconstitutional in our history with no reprisals. Normally it would not be fair. Unless outrages…

Too bad there wasn't a setback for Obama on November 2008!

"Rush", how cute. Immediately with the knee-jerk emotionalism.

To support ObamaCare meant to put aside morality in the process, "end justified the means". Now the fruits of such behavior unbecoming is bearing fruit.

So, to those supporters, YOU are now engaging in negligent manslaughter. Instead of a reasoned debate, YOU were 'greedy' for justice. Your "social justice" was neither social, and the "end" is no justice.

Obamacare has now been declared Unconstitutional by a federal judge.

When an elected official enters office, that official takes an Oath to support the Constitution. This is a Constitutional requirement, not a House or Senate internal matter.

All who participated in creation of Obamacare, and all who voted to make Obamacare the law of the land, violated their Oath Of Office by creating an Unconstitutional law. This includes members of the House, the Senate, President Obama, and staff personnel.

Those elected officials who violated their Oath Of Office are now no longer Constitutionally qualified to hold elected office and must, by force if necessary, be removed immediately from their jobs and made to repay all income and expenses received from the time Obamacare was made law. Now that Obamacare has been found Unconstitutional, elected officials who participated in creation of Obamacare, and who do not voluntarily leave office immediately, are trespassers who are impersonating legitimate government officials.

Having children one can not afford to raise has a negative impct on the health care system. So, since preventing teens and unwed mothers from having children has a positive impact on the health care of others, should the gov. not have the power to force one to have an abortion or pay a penalty?

Just because and outcome is positive, the congress does not have unlimited power to achieve that outcome. If we want a health care system that has some of the elements of Obamacare that some argue for, then pass those elements, and pay for them via. constitutionally valid methods. A tax, for example, is constitutional, though politically difficult. Forcing folks to engage in activity, such as purchasing health insurance, or an abortion, is not.

Want to strike down this law? Then you are saying that the 40,000+ who die each year year because they don't have basic services/insurance don't count.

Want to strike down this law? Then pass a bill so that hospitals don't have to offer free care to people who don't have health insurance or the money to pay out of pocket, EVEN IF that person is bringing in their child for emergency services.

Want to strike down this law? Then start telling people what repeal REALLY means, and not this "Lower taxes" BS. It means that a nation as powerful as ours is powerless to stop the greed for the for-profit health-care system.
