I'm not sure why people give Reid such a hard time about this. he is representing his constituents. it wasn't HIS opposition to Online gambling before, it was the LV casinos. THEY were against it, so therefore HE was against it. Now they are FOR it, so now he is for it. Yes, its payback, but it was their idea in the first place to have it outlawed.
I hear the argument that this will drive business AWAY from Las Vegas. That is a myth. Want to know when the last time I went to Vegas was? 2006, when I won a seat to a World Series of Poker event ONLINE. UIGEA got passed that fall, and I haven't been back since. Used as a proper marketing tool this could bring people back to Vegas. Win a tournament, and get a weekend at a luxury suite at Bellagio? Sounds good to me!

There are thousands who make a living in online poker now. Why not legislate/regulate it?
