How Republicans Can Repeal Health Reform

Problem is the mandate to require purchase of private health insurance isn't objectionable to Republicans. Ryan and others have been trying to convert public medical programs Medicare and Medicaid into just such types of plans. Face it. Insurers, hospital systems, pharmaceutical companies, and other health industry groups shoved this plan through, and they own both parties.

Ridiculous and ain't gonna happen.

Most the country wants to keep it or wants to improve it.

Obviously Roff is being purchased to express the special interest point of view,

... but no one believes you and this garbage for sale anymore.

That's why most the readers of USNWR know that whatever Roff says is probably the complete opposite of the truth. Everyone is for sale at some price, but some folks couldn't get a spine no matter how much money they are offered.

You have to go back to 1923 to see so many booted out of office across this Nations.

Ignored the polls and paid the price. Some like you refuse to learn from your wrong thinking. Be another Nov. 2 in 2012...

I guess you just haven't experienced not being insured or tried to help a family member with a disability who can't access treatment and services. It is so easy to join the bandwagon of naysayers, so hard to articulate alternative solutions. At least President Obama has attempted to fix the broken health-care system in this country. You, on the other hand, are taking the easy route - criticizing, without alternatives.

The slate of Republican leaders {so-called} are the most vicious ,irisponsible selfish bunch ever to have been elected to the Senate and House inmy 80 plus years, and the most power hungry jerks in America. Should thet ever completely get their way, those that voted them back in to office may live to regret their stupid decision. Sorry to say the other 65% of us that originally voted for our President will have to suffer along with them.

WH of WI 5:24PM November 30, 2010

The voters sent a clear message to Congress in November. Repeal Health Care, Keep the Bush tax cuts for every taxpayer. And yes still say NO NO NO to almost everything the Democrats try to ram down the taxpayers throat. NO is not a bad word when you look at what they have tried to do.

anolesman of FL 4:17PM November 30, 2010

"but at least replace it with means tested Medicare for those over 55 or with preexisting conditions - those people currently have no alternatives."

Many are put on disability...

Bill Hedges of MO 3:45PM November 30, 2010

I wish people would stop using the derogatory term Obamacare and call the law by its proper name. "The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act"

That name for it says it all, but if you read just the first few lines under Title I and see what this does for all of us, it blows my mind that anyone can talk about repeal.

Just another example of Republican hype to make Obama look bad at any cost, even a big cost to the American public at large.
