How shrewd of Keene - who also is a lobbyist and had sought policy changes for a huge price tag - and whose firms sought earmarks.

Now that he has "seen the light," I suggest that he turn over his lobbying fees to charity.

For $2 million to $3 million Keene was willing to throw ACU's support behind FedEx in the Fedex/UPS business tussle a year ago.

Fedex did not bite - so keene threw his support behind UPS.

All of Washington - including David Keene - needs to be cleaned up.

Keene is worse than the politician - claiming to be a conservative purist. He hides behind the label and makes a healthy profit in doing so.

Let's do clean up Washington and start with David Keene - replace him at the ACU.
