Thank you Peter. It is nice to know that somebody "in the media" can specak frankly without sounding like CBS, NBC, MSNBC, ABC, or NPR.

I agree November will be a big shift yet I worry. Obama won on the "Change" motto. But what america wanted was a change in politics not just a shift. America got more political posturing and special interest paybacks. Now change will drive another election, this time toward republicans. I hope they are listening that America is sick of gridlocked washington bleeding red ink and just feathering their own nest. We demand a change in actions and attitudes not just party. If the republicans dont listen, this back and forth swinging will continue until someone gets it.

From George Washington's farewell address. "However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people, and to usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines, which have lifted them to unjust dominion."

We have long gone past the time where cunning, ambitious and unprincipled men have usurped the government. It is time for the people to take back control of the country as George Washington desired it to forever be. Theodore Sumrall

...for the wailing and gnashing of teeth on the left. I will be waiting with baited breath to see which traitorous, anti-American leftard media whore will be the first to lecture us a la the deceased Peter Jennings about throwing a temper tantrum....

End the elitists' hold on our liberties - that includes the marxists/democrats and the RINOs. I'm tired of being a slave on their political plantation!

Doncha just LUV the claims about "corporate front groups" shilling for the GOP --- when the entire world knows that Obojangles and the Dems have been getting AT LEAST IF NOT MORE campaign contributions from those same corporations?

That sort of nonsense might have workded in the 1960's, but so many people now understand what "crony capitalism" means, and how much the Dems are practicing it ---buying GM, targetting "green" companies congenial to their agenda, etc-- that it's unlikely to work.

Mmm, pudding.

Ted, be care of what you wish for. Take a look at what is going in Australia - because Labor needed the Greens to form a government, the green movement now has power FAR in excess of what their numbers actually are -- this is the major problem with the Parlimentary system, minority parties can force an unwanted agenda on the majority. We're better off with trying to manipulate our own parties - the TEA party movement is trying to move the Reps back to their historical philosophy (small government) and away from the democrat lite that they've become lately. The Dems seem to have been taken over by the far left/marxist/progressive movement.

No, really.
