In record time the GOP and other conservatives have gained trust back, almost by default. People like John Mccain can make a big difference if he comes out strong as a conservative this go around even though i don't trust him. But other right minded electorates need to play nice but aggressive please keep our trust!

The people have seen what the Obama and progressive agenda is all about and we don't want any part of it .

With only about 20% admitted liberals out there trying to influence 80% their agenda is the way to go , it's no wonder they have to resort to insults , lies , and everthing else to brainwash people .

Ena of Ca. , watch where you're being led and who's doing the leading , you might not like where you end up .

Polls are based on questions posed to people. Liberals are smallest political segment. You are surprised your views are not believed by most people ?

Al Gore’s film had to announce a disclaimer in England by order of their Courts before showing.

You will find more and more of general news media abandoning left view or go broke. People aren’t buying your views.. Obama is disintegrated each day. Democrat politicians are distancing themselves from him…

Funny. Used to subscribed to News and World Report.

What happened to the editor? Whose Republican butt are you kissing?

There is enough Republican Lies in this issue to cause me never to buy another issue ever again.

Republican =Hypocrite, Liar, Fox watcher,

Wahhabi Saudi Prince supporter, global warming deniar, war mongering, corporate Shill

OR a dumbed down misguided sheep being led to its own slaughter

You are a giant disappointment World News Report--I shall never read your magazine ever again.

Sal of VA, no-one can trust Rasmussen's poll? You certainly make an impressive argument packed with facts. But in the end, the polls don't matter. The people who walk into the voting booths do matter, and I suspect you will represent the minority opinion when the results are in. See ya in November, Sal of VA. I won't be long now.

"Maybe the housing bubble impact could have been reduced if something was done. I do blame Bush for not making a big issue out of it like he should have."

Bush did from first year in office:

"Nancy Pelosi (D) Caught Lying: Says Bush Didn’t Warn Congress About Financial Crisis"

You think Rasmussen is the only poll out there that agree ? Bring in your fair and square poll. I nearly never see a liberal use a poll. Disprove the poll used here with yours. I will hold my breathe for you to post.

There is a reason why liberals are few in numbers. Heard David Letterman's jokes lately ? I may start watching his show.

Bill Hedges of MO 8:19PM August 27, 2010

No one can trust a Rasmussen poll, so there is no basis for drawing any conclusions from one, except that its probably wrong and just a wishful thinking talking point. In other words pure garbage in, garbage out.

DeeToo the recession did start in 2006/2007 and maybe you remember but the Democrats controlled Congress, so lets not go crazy blaming the Republicans. We can all selectively blame the GOP but I think that Bush was trying to have changes made to Fannie and Freddie but was stonewalled by Frank, Pelosi, Waters, and the rest as they fell back on the Race Card. Maybe the housing bubble impact could have been reduced if something was done. I do blame Bush for not making a big issue out of it like he should have. He probably knew it was a losing battle in the press.

I think I'll go ahead and vote GOP in all coming elections as you see what happens with the Dems in charge. Unemployment was 5% and jobs were abundant. Pelosi and Reid in charge and then the disaster that is Obama and his ruling class come in and in 4 short years unemployment is 20% in real numbers. If you hate business, hate capitalism, hate profits, and expand Government to unprecedented levels, you get what we have today. Misery.

People forgot about how miserable it was under Carter and now they get Carter on steriods. It will take several years to undue the damage, but Carville's 40 years of Democrat rule, will turn out to be 24 months. Thank God for that.
