Tsk, tsk, tsk...

I am amused by you as well. Your lack of articulation and creative rebuttal in your retorts, are basically mundane and ineffective. Your intelligence level is a minimum or either you are an old senior and your sharpness is declining.

By no means, don't poke your chest out for any of your posts. You preach to your own choir very well, but lack what it takes to instigate creative thoughts from those whom differ from your thought patterns.

Vice President Biden said Sunday that neither he nor the president thinks the Tea Party is a "racist organization," after the NAACP voted Tuesday to condemn the "racist elements" in the conservative activist movement.

Biden, speaking on ABC's "This Week," said both members and those on the "periphery" of the movement have expressed "racist views" which he described as "really unfortunate."

But despite the differences the administration has with Tea Partiers, Biden says he does not think that certain behavior by some members accurately portrays the movement as a whole.

"I wouldn't characterize the Tea Party as racist," Biden said. "I don't believe, the president doesn't believe, that the Tea Party is a racist organization. I don't believe that -- very conservative, very different views on government and a whole lot of things, but it is not a racist organization."

The NAACP originally was considering a broadly worded resolution to "repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties," but afterward tailored the language last week to repudiate elements within the Tea Party ranks that express "racist" views.

Tea Party organizations roundly condemned the NAACP for taking the time out of its annual convention to target their movement. Organizers called the NAACP irrelevant and guilty of bigotry themselves.

Oh yes, tea party is the victim. With all kinds of videos going they get accused of using the n word and spitting at Congress members on steps of Congress. Yet no video of it. There are video of them being beat up but not tea party harming anyone.

So yes there is a smear campaign against tea party. You used the term teaba....

Let’s get real.

Yes is good to expel racist. Your attitude has been pure nonsense. When found out they will be removed. Tea party is not racist. Racist get kicked out period.

There are racist and you act as though they only are in tea party in first comment. Your use of tea bagger is disgusting. You know the meaning of that word ? Have you notice me insulting you to that degree.

Second paragraph of second comment you are right.

Bill Hedges of MO 12:13AM July 19, 2010

The Tea Party Federation was right to expel Mark Williams, a perfect example of a racist teaparty leader. Admitting there is a problem and trying to make amends is a good start.

Unfortunately as long as there are the fringe who think that it is the teabaggers who are the victims here, don't expect things to change. We see the effects of dumbing down by mainstream news like dumb fox news, rather informing like the rest of the lamestream news that actually engages in journalism.

Its entirely legal to be racist and ignorant in America - nazis and the klan can get parade permits just like anyone else, and the rest of us have to tolerate holding our noses even while our taxes dollars are being used by local police forced to defend them. Some don't think we should be as tolerant of the snotty racist scumbags. Some believe anything they hear and think anything they hear is right because freedom of speech affords it, even if those who engage only in malicious hatemongering and displaying their nasty narrow-minded bigotry. I pity these fools walking around in their blinders but nonetheless they are usually wrong about everything.

The same main stream news media that worshiped the ground obama walked on. That ignored Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright. That saw all good in Acorn. Now sees Tea party as scum.

Well pick the poll. See how obama’s agenda is doing. Check out who is expected to win in November. Tea party ones being physically and verbally attack. They are not going to crumble from your false attacks.

You insinuate but prove nothing.

Guess why people flock to Fox in groves. To get away from liberalism and belief everything else is racist.

Newt's snide suggestion is like telling both sides to get on boxing gloves to work out their differences in the ring, excepts he suggest the tea party's ring. Again Newt offers more counterproductive nonsense. Town halls have been made a farce by the astroturf wranglers by attracting the fringe elements. So seems like he is advocating violence.

Of course the NAACP is accurate in its observation that some tea party leaders are out right racist, or we wouldn't have seen Mark Williams ousted from the Tea Party Federation. As long as Tea Partys condone racists in their ranks and revel in stirring up the fringe nutjobs, the racist label remains, Its an internal question whether the tea party is only a fringe element, stirred up on hate and racism, or trying to offer constructive dissent to achieve better governance.

So what is the Tea Party? Clearly it is not concerned with fiscal responsibility or we would have seen them strongly getting behind some kind of financial reform. Big disappointment there. The void of tea party in the the financial reform debate can only mean the subject was getting to complex for this simple sloganeering or it could mean these clowns are only a pack of astroturf anarchists turned loose by lobbyists and moneyed conservatives to stir up hate.

Would someone with a auspicious education get remarks erased for vulgarity and insults from a chat room ?

Woud he understand why his remarks were removed ?

You wondered why !

I prove you wrong sooooo often.

Bill Hedges of MO 7:05PM July 18, 2010

I did answer your pervious comment. There are many who do not believe you have MA.I have read their comments surely you have as well.

Would a person with MA use YAHOO ANSWER as a link ? I think not. Point out my spelling errors and include spelling error in their comment.

Bill,

The famous professor and I discussed many issues regarding Marxist and Post-Keynesian critiques of late capitalism. We decided that mature phase capitalism was subject to endemic crises mostly due to its tendencies toward chronic stagnation. This is generally caused by demand constraints resulting from increasing concentration of income. Cutbacks in production are a response to falling demand leading to the development of overcapacity, falling output and investment and, finally a falling rate of profit. Financialization shifts capital from the productive to the financial sector allowing asset price bubbles to ensue allowing borrowing in lieu of real GDP and income growth to create further demand. In the end, the bubbles burst and economic collapse results. Only massive public sector intervention and government spending can pull the economy out of depression and toward recovery. L Randall Wray, another great Post-Keynesian, adds his voice to the chorus.

These automatic stabilizers, not the bailouts or stimulus package, are the reason why the U.S. economy has not been in a free fall comparable to that of the Great Depression. When the economy slowed, the budget automatically went into a deficit, placing a floor under aggregate demand. And in spite of all the calls to rein in deficits, the truth is that deficits will not come down until the economy begins to recover. Even if we eliminated welfare payments, Medicaid, Medicare, military spending, earmarks, Social Security payments, and all programs except for entitlements; and also stopped the stimulus injections, shut down the education department, and doubled corporate taxes, the New York Times estimates that the budget deficit would still be over $400 billion. This example further demonstrates the nondiscretionary nature of the budget deficit. And, of course, this example doesn’t consider how much more tax revenues would fall and transfer payments would rise if these cuts were

actually undertaken. With the current automatic stabilizers in place, the budget cannot be balanced, and attempts to do so will only damage the real economy as incomes and employment fall.

James Galbraith explains why deficits are a red herring.

"What is the nature of the danger? The only possible answer is that this larger deficit would cause a rise in the interest rate. Well, if the markets thought that was a serious risk, the rate on 20-year treasury bonds wouldn’t be 4 percent and change now. If the markets thought that the interest rate would be forced up by funding difficulties 10 year from now, it would show up in the 20-year rate. That rate has actually been coming down in the wake of the European crisis...we should be focusing on real problems and not fake ones... Unemployment is at 10 percent."

Recovery will eliminate deficits, not fiscal austerity. Budget cuts will bring neither recovery nor a balanced budget.
