Bush isn't president anymore. Get over it. Your argument is as old and tired as a Howard Dean for president informercial.

People can't expect Obama to fix the mess the GOP and Bush made in just one year. They fought the stimulus package, which most economists believed needed to be at least twice as big and better targeted at Green Jobs, entitlement spending and other areas with a high spending multiplier. They also fought Obama on the public option in the house bill on health care reform. They fought financial industry regulatory reform despite the disaster that occurred in 2008 which almost wiped out the enter economy and which we're still suffering from and they won't offer any bipartisan support for ANY reform proposed by Obama or the Democrats.

The only thing the GOP knows how to do is disrupt and obstruct progress for partisan purposes. They are spreading hostile lies and propaganda in order to disrupt investment and spending in an obvious effort to "MAKE THE ECONOMY SCREAM" so as to cause Obama to fail. This is what their stated intention was on election night in November 2008 and they are making good on their promise. They will obstruct needed reforms and the possibility of a recovery for their own selfish gain. They are truly unpatriotic and anti-social in their efforts to rend the social fabric for their own political advantage.

It is the GOP that hates America. They demonstrate this daily with their obstructive behavior at the expense of the American People.
