Bush 41 voted out , read my lips , raised taxes , out . People affraid of Clinton agenda , voted in rep. congress , budget balanced and a surplus , Clinton 2 terms on the back of rep. Bush 43 elected , rep. spent to much and grew goverment , halfway voted out , kept spending money and expanding goverment , totally voted out . Dems turn , spending even more money and expanding goverment even more , guess what THEY WILL BE VOTED OUT .

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out . Spend taxpayers money stupidly and expand goverment , you're out , duh .

Now if dumb a-- Steve could figure that out , he could save us all alot of his long , try to prove a point , insulting comments

We the people don't want what is TRYING to be shoved down our throats !!

Are you kidding me! You throw out my links as being far right. You use this.

No wonder at times you do not provide links for your data.

I hope you keep showing your a--. It's great for people to see how far the progressive will go to try to prove a point or lie .

This article is accurate. However, it downplays the magnitude of the tidal wave that is about to engulf the Democrats. Ordinary Americans are enraged by the Dems' treasonous policies. They won't let Obama and his pals destroy America. Isn't democracy wonderful?

Philo of MA 8:52PM July 12, 2010

To even insinuate that the deficit is all on Obama's plate, is to deny that he came into office with a budget mess and wasted spending chasing WMD's.

So Ryke, as you so callously throw the term lefty loons around, don't start from eight weeks ago, start from eight years prior to Obama coming into office.

If you don't start from the starting point, which aguably could go as far back as Reagonomics, then you are regurgitating untrustworthy stinky info. So if you accept that bad info, then you are now in the mental possession of communistic propaganda! The teabaggers are brainwashing you into submission.

It's hard to call the left loony, when, in fact, it's the right that isn't allowed to use its own mind, and formulate ideas and opinions of their own, it is the right that needs rushida limblow (drug addict, but rich!) and glenbeckistan and false news to tell them what to think, now my friend, who did you say was loony again...LOL!

Steve says “Over 70% wanted a public option. “

LET'S SEE THE PROOF.

Anyone want to wager Steve does not come up with a good poll to prove.

Bill Hedges of MO 5:38PM July 12, 2010

Obama has increased the deficit by 450 percent in eight weeks, how the left can spin that to the fault of G.W Bush is anyones guess. We are fortunate the national "Take Out The Trash Day" is just around the corner...vote em`out this November.

I was worried the day Chavez and Castro hailed Bammies 'supposed' election win as a great accomplishment. It seems the lefty loons danced together in sync but across oceans with these tyrannical dictators.

Ryke of CO 5:06PM July 12, 2010

We've been through this before. Despite millions of dollars funneled into mass propaganda campaigns to lie and spread hysteria against welfare reform, most people supported it. Everyone knows there's no market solution to the particular health care problems we now face.

steve of IL 4:35PM July 12, 2010

People keep blaming Bush... what rubbish. Obama has increased the deficit, is crooked (back room deals; supporting things most americans oppose- healthcare and suing Arizona) and is morally bankrupt and endorses evil ideologies. Not just our grandparents but most morally decent humans can see this. Not only that but he is ineffective, incompetent and I don't really have to cite the oil spill, bribing senators, reconciliation, not prosecuting black panthers who intimidated voters to prove my point.

Drew of GA 4:06PM July 12, 2010

Together with the economic downturn, the Bush tax cuts and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq explain virtually the entire deficit over the next ten years.
