The USA Electorate here on the Big Muddy would dearly love to have Town halls with their Reps. Not today, nor tommorrow. Those incumbents are staying in DC, under Pelosi wing.

The issues are too personal, too clear, too invasive, for any incumbent to hold any type of open discussion. Unfortunately the USA Electorate is too well informed. A NON transparent DC guvmnt worked so well, alas, not today.

Your thugs have been making a mess of everything. You've been provoking violence and you attack ACORN and the SEIU which is peaceful. You are a liar and a right wing fraud.

I dare them to hold town meetings.

Where I am staying this summer and last in White Lake, NY the Democ-rat congressman, Maurice Hinchey, is hiding from his constitutnts. He holds events in tightly controlled situations, mostly surrounded by large necked union thugs who keep the real people away from him. I'm glad that I'm a mere summer resident here because I consider him one of the lowest forms of human life that had darkened the stage of American politics. (I'm not happy to be one of those who pays the taxes which keep the counties and towns in his district afloat.)

Hopefully the full time residents will throw him out this year, but considereing population trends, with so many of his constituents leaving New York, perhaps his district will no longer exist in 2013.

Cowardly Democrats have avoided town hall meetings because they did not want to hear the truth about how upset the majority of the people are with Obama and the Democrats' handling of the economy, job creation, healthcare, voter intimidation by the Black Panthers, national security with Christmas bomber and New York bomber, foreign policy, Devious Supreme Court nominees, oil spill dithering, etc.

Steve of IL is way off base. He must be a koolaid drinker of the worst kind.

Obama has not done anything to work with the Republicans. Obama plays the blame game card in nearly every speech he gives. He is the most divisive and destructive president this country has ever seen. He is on course to do so much destruction with his socialist agenda and wealth redistribution that this country will become a banana republic or worse. He lies in every speech. He is creating racial tensions with the actions of Holder and Bolden. How utterly despicable!!

Steve of Illinois' statement that the Supreme Court recently decided corporations "have the right to unlimited private campaign contributions to politicians." is completely and totaly false. In fact it is such a distortion of what the court found that it almost has to be a deliberate lie.

"The mere suggestion that Barack Obama's history is replete with a string of murky associations with dangerous extremists is enough to send the Left, the pragmatists, and the 'moderates' spinning in an endless cycle of dizzying indignation. Yet even his present close associations are highly problematic."

"Andy Stern, who heads the workers' union known as SEIU, is the most frequent visitor to the White House. Obama has admitted on numerous occasions that he collaborates with Stern and the SEIU on a regular basis."

"He even stated during the 2008 campaign that he has 'worked his entire life with SEIU.'"

"First, SEIU thugs attacked citizens who attended Town Hall meetings with their elected representatives last summer, seriously injuring several who required hospitalization. The thugs never threatened anyone beforehand. They simply showed up at the meetings to intimidate town hall attendees and then unleash their violence on the unsuspecting citizens by surprise."

"SEIU and ACORN thugs also blocked the entrance to at least one Town Hall meeting, refusing to grant entrance to the constituents within the representative's district.

The citizens who attended these Town Hall meetings were unarmed, many of whom were retired and elderly. Yet they exercised one of their most sacred rights in this free society--to confront elected representatives and hold them accountable, this time on the highly unpopular ObamaCare bill."

"Second, interestingly, Andy Stern and SEIU helped to write the ObamaCare bill that our illustrious Congress critters admitted they never read. They didn't have to. They had been bought off by the special interests who wrote the bill, and that includes SEIU and the Apollo Alliance, which coordinates efforts between big government, big labor, big business, and big environment."

"Apollo also helped craft the near-$1 trillion-dollar stimulus package for Obama."

Add into the mix Communist Van Jones, the Hugo Chavez admirer, and the 'Center for American Progress' which is run by a Leftwing extremist, and you have a healthcare bill that was conceived, nurtured, born, and bred in the bowels of American Leftwing extremism."

"Presently there is a massive, concerted effort on the part of the Leftwing, the mainstream media, the White House, and Democrats in Congress to portray Tea Party activists as dangerous, violent, right-wing extremists. This, it would seem, is a perfect cover for the violence that is nurtured, encouraged, and perpetrated by the Leftwing organizations most closely associated with Barack Obama."

"The death threats against Nancy Pelosi and Bart Stupak are actually but a drop in the bucket compared to the threats made against Patriots, Tea Party activists, and anyone else who dares to raise a voice of protest against this President."

Bill Hedges of MO 10:55PM July 08, 2010

It was the conservative US Supreme Court, with its GOP appointed Justices, that recently decided corporations were people and have the right to unlimited private campaign contributions to politicians. This says it all.

And when it comes to bipartisanship, Obama and the other Democrats have done their best to work with the party of NO to no avail. This hogwash about "backroom Chicago dealing" is a lie and just more smear by the GOP. Everyone knows that Obama broke no rules in passing the health care bill. The bill would have turned out better and would have been much more popular had the house version passed with the public option and the medicare buy in. Of course, the GOP and their friends in big business destroyed that and got the insurance mandate they wanted because that is what big insurance wanted. One critic, Anthony DiMaggio, aptly calls the bill a "corporate health care victory;"

"Contrary to the propaganda on the right, health care reform did not pass because of the "socialist pressures" of a "big government" that's intent on dismantling the private health care system. This bill is largely a victory for pharmaceuticals, medical professionals, and insurance lobbyists. Health care lobbyists have long maintained an incestuous relationship with the government, with three of every four health care firms retaining at least one former official on their lobbying payroll. Incredibly, half of the health care industry's lobbying representatives are former government officials, and the industry spends on average $1.4 million a day lobbying the government for benefits and protections. In other words, members of the private health care industry are not only closely linked with officials -- the two are one and same in light of the revolving door that exists between private industry and government."

http://mrzine.monthlyreview.org/2010/dimaggio250310.html

DiMaggio sums up what the bill means for insurance companies;

"In a way this bill is a tremendous victory for the insurance companies -- whether they acknowledge it or not -- because of the Democrats' refusal to implement Medicare-for-all, or even a public option that would compete with private insurers. Insurance companies will surely face some profit loss due to rules relating to preexisting conditions and requirements that they cover the poor, but they will also gain due to the estimated 16 million new customers who will be required to purchase private health insurance, and will be provided taxpayer subsidies to do so."

Angela Braley of Wellpoint testified before congress in 2008 that a private insurance mandate by the government would be the best solution. This is exactly what corporate America got! The very biggest winner will be big pharma. Their annual profit rates have averaged 19% since Bush passed Medicare part D in 2006. They will continue to benefit from health care reform especially since it remains illegal for the federal government to negotiate bulk medication discounts.

Who are the crazies....birthers or the liberals that blindly worship Obama?

This is actually AMAZING that Americans have let this stuff go. Nobody knows who Obama is and he wants to make damn sure it stays that way!!Liberals are party to the crime, as is the media, the rest of America needs to wake up. What I listed below is FACT, not some backwoods conspiracy. Simply, Ask yourself WHY?

Besides his actual birth documentation, documentation that remains concealed for Obama includes kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, his files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records, and his adoption records.

Last week a man that had worked for the election commission in Hawaii said point blank that Obama does not have birth certificate in Hawaii and he had access to the records. as I dug a little deeper I found that Obama is also hiding the above documents. You people are being made a fool. Is there not one honset journalist left in America that will look into this matter and find out what Obama has been hiding.
