Opine

It is far too soon to evaluate the Senate final structure on November 12. Pollsters are notoriously wrong, even after the facts are in.

The Tide for the Left has gone out. The USA Electorate is quietly, but certainly evaluating each and every candidate. No longer a GOP, a Dem, a Indy, but a principled, honest and fiscally sound candidate will win. The USA Electorate, as I have said elsewhere is finally, thourghly awake. Polls do NOT reflect this.

I would quote other polls but you would have a reason to dislike. Have you accepted the Senate results in MA yet ?

I would have provided conflicting poll results if I was you to make my point. You know back my statement.

This is the lamest piece of 'analysis' I've seen lately. Rasmussen? Why not just quote Karl Rove?

I clicked on Zuckerman's article and I get Roff's article. What gives?

Is USNWR as screwed up as Obama?

In the second place there is no such thing as a "left wing hate monger" (although who could blame them if there were!!)

The quote from Sharron Angel was from a sound bite from her Congressional testimony which was featured on a radio news program. They featured the entire quote. It was not out of context. She was asked a direct question which went "Is abortion ever justified?" She answered, without any hesitation "NO! I am a Christian and I believe that everything that happens is part of God's plan."

I'm sorry but this is America. No one has the right to shove their religious beliefs down the throats of an unwilling society. This is why we have a first amendment that says "Congress shall make no law regard to the establishment of religion..." What part of this is so hard to understand? This is not Iran or Afghanistan. Men and women fight and die to protect us, among other things, from fundamentalist theocracy. Let's respect our troops, you hypocritical right wingers!!

Steve uses partial quote of one Republican and says "apologizing to BP". How Steve love three word summaries. Therefore "We've got 'em all spouting insane things ". Steve reads/quotes in full context rarely instead he turns it into inflammatory 3 word self serving characterizations.

Same Steve logic, one Democrat was videoed restraining a student by wrist and neck therefore all Democrats are student reporter' physical abusers.

Steve thinking is racist and fortunately the worse of his dribble gets erased by administration for personal insults and vulgarity.

Steve claims to have earned a MS. Most if not all would say in what. Steve’s words speak for themselves. MS in cannibalizing facts into mumbo-jumbo.

Bill Hedges of MO 1:10AM July 07, 2010

Steve, you watch too much MSNBC and the left hate mongers. You confuse their illogical rantings with facts. Rasmussen has been one of the most accurate polling organizations out there and generally polls likely voters (LV) instead of all voters so their numbers are usually the most accurate. Of course all polls have margins of error and numerous examples could be shown where they and all other polling groups missed the call. But your hateful tone and name calling without substantive political discussion seems to be the new trait of the far left. The average tea party member is well educated, hard working etc. etc. That is fact, but then facts don't seem to matter to you. Just label them "crazies" in a pathetic attempt to discredit their reasoned views. Sounds like desperation by the uninformed.

david Aymond of LA 10:49PM July 06, 2010

There are so many tea party crazies running against mainstream Democrats they we may get a surprise this fall. We've got 'em all spouting insane things about privatizing social security and apologizing to BP for the alleged government "shakedown" for funds to clean up their mess. Sharron Angel let go with a brilliant remark about how "there's never a case where abortion should be allowed. Even in cases of rape and incest which should be viewed as the result of God's will and plan." I guess we should just council teenage girls impregnated after being raped by their stepfather that they need to carry the pregnancy to term because it was all part of God's plan. Anyone, especially a woman, who votes for this nutcase should be institutionalized as insane. But then again, what can we expect from a candidate who openly supports a violent militia group like the OathKeepers. These are scary times.
