Typical of the media to give this racist a pass. What a bunch of frauds Democrats are.The play the race card on conservatives and excuse away a Klansman because he is on their team. Cowards they are for doing this and a total lack of principle.

It is sickening to watch these politicians speak of how much they love this country. They conveniently forget about its brutal and bloody history. I don't mind you remeniscing about the past, just be truthful. Truth is something that America refuse to acknowledge when it comes to race. Now somehow blacks and latinoes are the new racist as if we control the institutions and power that keeps racism alive and well. The Jeff Sessions, Fixx News, Limbaughs and Tea Baggers are true race hustlers who continue to paint people of color as the benefit of some special priviliges that deprive white Americans. This movies has been playing thruout the history of this country. Wake up American its not about black and white, it's about the haves and have nots. Keep the underclass fighting over the crumbs from the table while the fat cats who make policy laugh all the way to the bank. They can always find money to wage war, corporate bailouts and foreign aid but has hoodwinked white america in to thinking that there is a problem with providing health care for its own citizens. Our elected politician have the best of health care but we fund wars all over the globe but we can't take care of our own. All Americans wake up whether you are in first class or coach the airplane goes down with us all in it.

Of course the black media is racist, otherwise they would just be the "media".

Sheets was a full blown anti-black lying sack of dung Democrat. What baffles me is the Blacks who almost unanimously vote Democrat. It is well known that it is and was the Dems who ran the KKK and voted the Jim Crow laws. Who did the lynching. And yet for some reason the Blacks vote for Dems, Unbelievable. Wake up people, do your research and find out who your friends are. Harry, Nancy, Barack, Jesse, Al, Chuckie, and all the other low life Dems are NOT working for your betterment.

You just gotta love the free Komedy supplied by the Democrats – at Byrd’s funeral the always credible William Jefferson Clinton said the following…..

“He once had a fleeting association with the Ku Klux Klan, what does that mean? I'll tell you what it means. He was a country boy from the hills and hollows from West Virginia. He was trying to get elected,"

By all accounts Byrd’s “fleeting association” with the Klan and his racist activites span nearly two decades – just about the same as Adolf Hitler’s fleeting association with the Nazi Party. Adolf also used his “fleeting association” in trying to get elected – same as ol’ Sheets Byrd. And I guess that Bubba simply forgot about how Byrd demonstrated his change of heart towards people of color when in 1964 he started and headed-up a coalition of Democrat Senators to vote against the 1965 Civil Rights Act. I’m a little confused about how this makes amends for Byrd’s earlier Klan activity but we’ll just have to take Bubba’s word for it...

So I’m glad Bubba set me straight – the Right Honorable Senator from West Virginia and Exaulted Cyclops was really a humanatarian and all-around swell guy. Here I thought he was just another say-anything lying Democrat pile-of-puke with a white pointy hood. Boy, is my face red!

Seems that the Black media has given it a pass as well.

Are they racist also?

Actually, Steve, the term is very useful in describing those who refuse to ever admit that their side could ever be wrong - a perfect description of what I've seen in your posts so far.

The "David Barry" method also describes your methodology of presentation almost to a tee.

As for me, I am neither a Conservative, a Libertarian, no a Liberal. I have opinions and beliefs that can typically be filed in each category. Unlike yourself, I have no belief that one side is always right and the other always wrong.

So far, your posts always side with the Liberal view, even when the evidence is irrefutably pointing in the opposite direction. This sort of blindness is a perfect description of a useful idiot - you can easily be led down the paths that your liberal masters want you to go.

There are also posters here on the conservative side who fit the description perfectly, and had I used it against them for their blind obedience to their side, you can safely bet that your opinion of the "usefulness" of that term would be 180 from where it is right now.

Next time you watch a presidential news conference make sure you take a good look at all the smiling white faces of the liberal media, the same goes for the networks and hollywood, in fact the entertainment is probably the last bastion of white superiority in america, so it's not surprising that they would give a ex klan member a pass.

Jimmy of AL 11:26AM July 04, 2010

But I don't expect much more from conservatives.

steve of IL 6:53PM July 03, 2010

Your reply (as they usually are, unfortunately) is nonsense, and has zero to do with the topic.

Attempting to shift the discourse to something other than the FACT that the Dems made all sorts of noise when Trent Lott praised Strom Thurman at a birthday party, yet are squawking when the Repubs bring up Byrds past (and the majority of the media won't even mention his KKK past) is nothing short of hypocrisy, and no amount of redirect by you will change that FACT.

STILL a "usefull idiot" relying on the David Barry method instead of actually using actual logic and thoughtfulness.
