We've known this for some time. It's the liberal media that has it's head in the sand and refuses to admit his bad numbers and his bad presidency!

Who take these Polls? Why is it these people never call the Homes of Africans Americans? No body calls me and ask me nothing. Please.

The very fact that Obama was elected destroys your "hypocrites" argument.

America is 76% white.

If you look at the 2008 statistics:

well over 95% of African Americans voted Obama.

56% of Whites voted Obama as well.

So, explain how this proves white people are racist?

If anything it would suggest that black people are racist, but I'm not trying to make that argument.

If Obama's approval rating is 39% among white Americans, then we have to assume that there are political reasons for this. It is idiotic to assume that people who were not racist enough to deny Obama the presidency would suddenly be racist enough take it away from him. Maybe it's time to stop looking at skin color and start evaluating this President in the same fashion that the 43 Presidents before him were evaluated.

If his approval rate is 47-48 percent then there are 47-48 percent of americans that are really stupid.

You ought to swap your handle out for something more akin to presumptious, aye?

You are making a very broad assumption based upon nothing more than what ever ideas you may have inside of your own head.

The fact is that you really do not know the demographics of anyones cast votes other than your own.

It is people such as yourself that really do not help the "cause" of your politics. Remove your emotional conjecture and try some critical thinking once in a while.

Its funny to hear people bitching about blacks voting for Obama when they themselves vote WHITE ALL THE TIME and will NEVER vote any other way EVER...from what I know many blacks have voted for different white candidates throughout the history of this country whether its a mayor, governor or president.

Can the same be said of you? have you ever voted for a non white person ever? Is it really surprising that the majority of blacks voted Obama rather than McCain/Palin? I mean seriously? Palin doesn't even consider minorities "real" Americans.

You're saying his approval among blacks is whats holding him up..how so? Blacks only make up about 12% of the population and all credible polls take that into consideration when adding up the numbers.

meaning no more than 12% of the respondents should be black.

i like what most of what obama is doing. the democrats put him into a mess. the tax cut deal he just passed mad me mad. the recession we are in it is hard for him. i would want to be a lawyer when i grow up so i want to see what obama can do. i think the blacks will back him up in 2012. some of the bills he has passed has been a good sucess.

I can't believe we elected a foreign born non-Christian into office as the President of the United States of America. This guy is such a fraud and anyone who voted for him should feel completely duped. Not only is he a proficient liar, but he is proficient at lying while having an ample lack of knowledge on the various subjects which he has defrauded voters on. THIS GUY DOES NOT EVEN KNOW FOREIGN POLICY! He is an idiot! Look, the real issue at hand that is crucifying our economy is the fact that we send all our money over to China and everything is manufactured there. We are solely a consumer nation and do not produce anything (not even steel). Until we can get rid of all the union regulations and begin to manufacture once again, this country is doomed (and we don't have long.... Our flame is flickering).

Obama has from some indications taken the Hispanic voter for granted since he took office. I'm a southwesterner that supported Clinton, but voted for Obama in 2008. I see a disturbing trend among Hispanic who are losing confidence because of a lack of action regarding Hispanic concerns. By almost every social indicator, Hispanics are at the bottom rung in edudcation, health care, veteran care, homeownership, wealth attainment, jobs, etc., and Obama has ignored our concerns completely. As a lifelong D I am having reservations about his leadership and ability to bring us out of the current recession crisis, Iraq and Afganistan and Korea. I'll hedge on my support for Obama until the next cycle in Nov. '12 and hope that someone within the D political will come forth and challenge him. SoS Clinto might be that person.
