Sestak Bribe Allegations Could Sink His Candidacy

The reason the WH chose to back Spector was because they owed him big time for his health care vote, apparently they made him a deal as well...Obama and his administration are showing a pattern of having the middle man do the dirty work...If anyone has been following the upcoming trial of exGovernor Milorad Blagojevich they know about Obama calling then SEIU President Andy Stern to call on Milorad relaying a message that he wanted Vallerie Jarrett for the Senate position...Sounds like our new President isn't happy just being President he want's the Senate too. It is also very obvious that Holder is beholden to the President as is U.S.Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald so there is no way any body is going to get indicted and with the press drooling over him this will be swept under the rug just like everything else...

No surprises here - happens all the time in Obama's African homeland.

The gamesmenship is no surprise. I believe they tried to control Sestak. I think it is great and tells great things about the strength Sestak has to tell them to keep their stinking position.

What i think is the more telling is why did the WH want Spector to be the candidate and not Sestak. I believe that Clinton and the WH Chief and even the President wanted Spector to be in the election because they are all as conservative as the republicans who now want to use this to bash the democrats over the head.

First off, it is all about the arrogance of all these insider elites who believe they have the authority and the right to control and manipulate the choices that American citizens should have a right to make and not have these bureaucrats fixing the odds so that there remains effectively no difference among any of the candidates who Americans ever get to vote for.

I could be uninformed that there are possibly more important qualifications why Spector is better than Sestak, but I believe it is simply that Spector and the rest of the Washington insiders want to keep the status quo just as it is even though we can all see that is not working out too well for the rest of America. Sestak is possibly about real change and Spector is a power player willing to kiss any butt to stay on the inside in DC.

Please tell me what is so good about Spector over Sestak for Penn and for America.

It is so predictable. A conservative columinist writes the obituatry on a liberal senatorial candidate sighting the conservatives higher moral ground. I had never read anything by Peter Roff, but once I read the first opening sentenance of "Sestak Bribe Allegations Could Sink His Candidacy

May 26, 2010 05:27 PM ET | Peter Roff |", i immediately Googled Peter Roff and low and behold where did I find his biggest editorial splash? Take a big fat Greek Wedding guess? Would you believe "FOX NOT+SO+NEWSY+NEWS"?

I am sick to my stomach now...the radical right wing is trying to sink the ship! If you all want a counrty that is totally free of government then move to Somolia! It is a perfect fit! No central government, no taxes, a place where money talks and bulls^*t walks! A perfect place for the radical right wing that loves freedom and liberty to move to!

Otherwise, chip in and help repair the damage of 40 years of deregulation or shut your collective trap!

The administration will be completely open and disclose the audio recording of the meeting with Sestak,...the white house is just waiting for the Radio Shack "Memorial Day Tape Recorder Sale-a-Thon",..besides it'll give them extra time to type up the scripts and rehearse their lines, buy enough batteries etc.

People, there is a lot of back and forth about right wing corruption vs left wing corruption. There is corruption on both sides and not just in the Republican and Democrats. We shouldn't be defending any politicians corruption whether they are a member of the party we back or not. If there is an instance of suspected corruption, we should all be calling for an investigation, enough with the "well your side had corruption problems too and no one did anything." It's childish stupidity. Do not blindly put your support behind anyone who happens to be in the same party you are, whether they are the president or not. And if you voted for someone who turns out to be corrupt, it's ok to say you made a mistake. Don't just throw out idiotic rebuttals about past corruptions that went by unnoticed to back up your initial vote. We have become a society of "it's someone else's fault." We need to start being accountable for our own actions and start making others accountable for theirs as well. Bottom line, you do a wrong, you pay the price, not matter who you are and we should all be uniting against the people in all parties who are corrupt. It's time to stand up and demand more from our politicians, and ourselves.

Do you know why the gutless liberals have the numbers to beat the Republicans? Well, it's simple.....over half of the Americans that are of voting age are either in a union, a minority, gay, wanting something for nothing or just plain dumb as hell. That's pretty much the long and short of it.

Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians and Tea-hadist. Where was the cry from your side to conduct full investigations of ALL of G.W.'s dirty deals? Hmmmm? e.g. Tom Delay (there's a long list of others). One can only conclude your team has been sitting on the sidelines waiting for ANYTHING to hang PRESIDENT Obama on. Just keep in mind there's millions that back him and will march through your town at the first sign of B.S..

The more you stir up, the more you will solidify your opposition. We already know we have the #'s to defeat your gang when the time really matters.

Stop talking about non-issues and stirring up hate. Push your Congressmen to actually do some work to help ALL of America, not just those South of the Mason Dixon.

I don:t give a darn how it came out intentionally or not . This should be fully investigated and the white should be all put under oath and if found to be lying should be punished at the full course of the law.

Rahm should not be held accountable because the top man gave the order for the bribe which if found quilty is a crime that calls for impeachment.

Now comes another person saying he was also asked to drop out and offered another job. where there is smoke there is fire and it;s about time some of these shady deals the white house are making will all come falling out one by one,

This has been going on since he took office and these sheep with all their lying and denying and cover ups will soon wear too thin thayt no one will believe a thing the democrats are saying.
