Newt Gingrich Hits Back at Secular-Socialist Critics

I am not impressed with Obama and I don't see any change. We are still in Iraq and Afghanistan. Spending billions on this war with no end in sight. When do we know when the war is over?

We are still so in debt that we will never dig out of this hole financially. Our government is spending MORE? Why?????? They act like a kid with daddy's credit card.

Obama needs to define just what "American" means. Are we citizens of the North American Union/community? Are there really borders? Is there a Globalist agenda being carried out by the Council on Foreign Relations and other institutions to merge Mexico, Canada and the US?

We need answers... I think both liberals and Conservatives in America sense something is wrong. I can't blame both sides to trying to label it, but it seems even bigger than any of us. I think both Democrats and Republicans are tired of "Career Politicians". We need new ideas and to clean out all the dead wood and corruption.

It is time for change and I think we will see it in November.

You must be kidding - it's all about packaging and marketing. Let me be clear (Obama likes to say that so it must be cool) - An electorally significant number of Americans will not vote for a president named; Festus, Farkus, Huckabee, Hopalong, Goober, Gomer, Bubba, Junior, Gonzo, Elvis, Cosmo, Tex, Jimbo, Hoot, Scrote, Gabby, Groot or Newt.

Kunta Kinte - sure Afro Centric, p.c. progressive cool - Elmer Fudd or Alfalfa Skunkdunk - Not a chance.

Now, 'sides what'chu talkin' 'bout high school fer? Jez'cuz you grageated don't make you better'n other folks who ain't. Yer jest a might too smart alecky fer yer own good.

Upon election of Obama, one of the first things out of Newt's mouth was "I hope he fails". If this sick, destructive way of thinking pervades our politics it's no wonder that bipartison progress is nearly impossible.I believe that many of us are weary of this blind, obstreperous behavior. What ever happened to the Grand Old Party.

Perhaps we should read the book first, instead of condemning the man. It was his leadership in Congress that balanced the budget when Clinton was President.

This guy hates the majority of Americans...how can he possibly win the presidency?

R.L. Shaefer, this isn't high school anymore where we vote on people based on their names. Do you still do that? You know it's not a popularity contest right?

People vote trying to keep loonies out. Loonies such as Newt, Bush, Cheney.

Biggest threat to America and the world is not from Progressive governments, but from the unholy nexus of Fundamentalists and Big Business. Fundamentalists promote extremist - irrespective of the books they believe in, and in turn promote a closed insular society, that justifies its violence against others who are different. And Big Business uses this environment to do what it wants - damage environment, fleece consumers, and unleashes the fundamentalists when challanged. Case in point, Ron Paul's brood that won the TeaParty nomination is already making statements against Obama, calling him Unamerican for being harsh on BP. The fundamentalists that have triggered 9/11, terrorism around the world and other heinious deeds exists today in Newts mind and in the minds of other conservative like him. It is even more frightening as if elected these folks will control the most powerful army in the world. It is up to reasonable Americas to see through Newt's ruse, and hand him a resounding defeat in the polls.

The pity is that we will never elect a president named "Newt".

We did elect a guy named Barak Hussein Obama - but that was p.c., hip and "ethnically cool" - "Newt"...not so much.
