Newt Gingrich Hits Back at Secular-Socialist Critics

I still do not understand this socialistic concept of working for one other person and how anyone could benefit from it. A Bob Avakian has spoke of this ideal in very vague and general ways and all I can say is that he is a little of balance when he verbally lashes out with his classless vocabulary as he speaks from the podium, If anyone doesn't know who he is, he is the chairman of the communist revolutionary party. I went to the web site called "revolutionary talk" and it scared me out of my wits. I also did some reading on the web site of the C.P.U.S.A. "communist party USA". Turns out they are endorsing President Obama. This is scary stuff folks, its as if these are the communists in the United State that have come out of the woodwork ever since Barack Obama was elected and are now happy that they have one of there own in the White House. When Barack Obama ran for the Presidency in 2008, I didn't pay much attention to the accusations of him being a socialist/communist. Now I know he is a socialist/communist being that he has taken all student loans out of the private sector through the way of a tax and spend health care bill. Our Government will be telling all our institutions what to teach or they won't be getting any financing for student loans. Lets face it, taking over political philosophy is by all means is communism. The students of this country in the years to come will be pro-socialist parakeets for the Democratic party. Barack Obama may not be another sadam hussein but he is sure paving they way for dictator that would be very comfortable in the White House. Come November 2010 I hope the many Americans will just say no to "boot heel" Government. George W. went after terrorists, Barack Hussein Obama is going after you.

Why should anyone listen to this guy, he is proven to be a liar of the first water. Has cheated on all of his wives and who knows what with other women. He is a disgrace and should keep his foul mouth shut and his opinions to himself.

OUR Federal Government appointed Themselves "responsible" for regulating and INSPECTING Oil Rigs....See how well that has worked out?

Why on earth would the same Government who has run our deficit up to 13 TRILLION!, Bankrupted Social Security, Bankrupted Medicaid, Bankrupted Medicare...Don't get me started on the National FLOOD Tax!

Why would ANYBODY believe turning EVERYTHING we are and own over to these FOOLS is a good IDEA?????

NEWT has got his own issues but I'd take him over anybody residing in Washington DC currently.

jimmatmadison, even though I see things alot different. You are in a minority of people happy with our direction, so be it. I'm glad you're happy.

Cash for clunkers isn't exactly what I meant, that's still yet to be seen how well that really worked. I was thinking more about the Post Office, Dept. of Energy ( to get us off of mid east oil), Dept of Education ( now that the US has fallen out of the top 10 ), I see S.S., medicare and medicaid quite different than you do, goverment employee pension funds, most of these are in alot of trouble

Again, thanks, that's why you're a democrat and I'm not, we see goverments role quite differently. I'm sure we'll meet again.

7. Last things first. Obama voted against the GOP FY2006 (H.Con Res 95) and FY2007 budgets (HCR 83). Your statement that Obama voted for every Bush spending bill is a lie somebody told you. We were shouting our heads off when Bush was giving tax breaks to millionaires and oil companies, running two wars off budget, and giving no-bid contracts to Halliburton. Were you?

1. I am happy with the direction President Obama is taking America. Absolutely.

2. My income tax rate went down just like 90%+ of Americans.

3. If by 'bigger government' you mean reining in the banks that d--near put us into a Depression - Yes. If you mean making health care available for 8 million kids, the vast majority of them from 'working poor' families - Yes. There's much more that has been done and much more to do. I'm very proud of what President Obama the the Democrats in Congress have done to fix the mess left behind by Bush. But, as the BP disaster points up, there are a lot of problems left to solve.

4. The major entitlement programs like Social Security and Medicare are quite sound for a long time. Scare stories about them are just that. Social Security will always require adjustments in terms of rates, payouts, age limits, etc., but that's the nature of working with intergenerational transfer programs. Medicare is not a self sustaining program due to it's very nature, so that's a funding issue, but it's currently OK.

5. Programs that are working or have worked: The bank 'bailout' and stimulus spending are credited by nearly every mainstream economist with keeping us out of a Depression or near-depression. We're dealing with <10% official unemployment instead of the 20-30% range. To his credit, the Bush Administration initiated a lot of the emergency activity, but his policies had largely caused the problem so he only gets a tiny 'attaboy' from me. The 'bailout' put money back into the system after it had nearly creaked to a halt. Stimulus spending was the only way to generate the type of economic activity that was needed to get things moving again.

6. Specific programs: Cash for Clunkers was a great program that got the car industry rolling again. This kept manufacturing assembly lines open, and the suppliers' assembly lines, and right on down. Local dealers benefitted as did all of the grocery stores and clothing stores and everybody else that depends on those jobs. Buying a stake in GM to keep them operating was absolutely the right thing to do. We need American companies hiring American workers to build American cars. Like everyone, I'll be glad when we divest GM, though. Locally, for me, transit funding is getting passenger rail into Madison, which will provide many jobs in the short term, make transportation more efficient, and lessen the need to pave over more of Wisconsin's beautiful farmland for highways.

Lastly, we're creating over 200k jobs a month instead of losing almost 800k. Long way to go, but we've come very far already.

To clarify what I said about history, is there a socialist big goverment anywhere in the world that has worked or succeeded? Please point out one if you can, while your at it try to answer any of my questions I posed to Jimatmadison, or will you run away too?

As far as having to go back to the 50sfor something that's fine (I'll look into it),you need not go back that far, look at today what you people on the left and Obama are trying to do to people that don't agree with his progressive agenda re: Tea Party people, Fox News, Rush, ect., shut people up let me have my way, that's Obamas way today, may-be same as then, I think only today it's to takeover this country not to protect it. Please try to answer my questions to Jim.

Johnnie of Pa., Newt and the republicans did balance the budget and give us a surplus in the 90s..

"History does and will repeat itself. Watch what you ask for."

Like the red scares of the 50s? Law abiding citizens being grilled by reactionary Republican, right wingers on their political beliefs? People being blacklisted and unable to work because paranoid, conservatives didn't agree with their political views?

Wasn't he enthusiastic about term limits? Hasn't his expired? He's just one more lying TV preacher clamoring for a fundamentalist theocracy. Just one problem: Like all the other "family values", "born again", "Christian", hypocrites, he just can't keep from reaching under the bathroom stall.

I am surprised Gingrich knew all this and his Republicans and Bush administration never paid him no attention if his ideas were good enough. His contract of America went no where and became just an empty dream. He speaks with surety and believes in his dictatorship opinions. He is too angry of everything.
