The SEC is like kids to Republicans - it can be seen but not heard from.
We know the unspoken truth was that the SEC under Bush was not to bother investigating anyone - hence Bernie Madoff and Sir Alan.
The Obama Admin five times as transparent as the Bush Admin, but that doesn't bother the partisan bickerers. Haters will always be hating. Too bad they seem to hate the US so much.

Mr Obama promised to "change" business as usual in Washington and he has delivered. It has modeled "Chicago Style Politics" with ONE-sided/Arm-twisting/Back Door PORK Dealing/threatening rhetoric to shove through ONE CRAPPY BILL after another to meet the Obama/Pelosi/Reid "Agenda" timetable to destroy America. The American people ARE paying attention.
Most of US want the Republicans to continue saying NO! to this "Agenda" despite the Democratic view.
They still don't understand...YET!
Just a reminder for November...The last time the Democrats held the Presidency-The Senate AND the Congress was CARTER.
It took over a DECADE to recover from THAT!
Let's not make the same mistake this time...please!
Sad part...it may be too late for the US to recover this time.

Where were you regarding Halliburton and Blackwater in the two wars brought to us by not only phony intel, but impotent men (Bush/Cheney, Rumsfeld) all trying to be big men, or what exactly was the SEC doing while Bush was in office? Oh, I can answer that, looking at and downloading porn.
To the person that quoted NY Post. What a laugh! Talk about a rag. If that is where you are getting your info (I would assume from FOX also), you are delusional. Try getting your information from a more credible source and I don't mean the Heritage Foundation or the AEI.

Anyone else notice how much these goons doing the whisper campaigns against the president sound like cartoon villains? "of courssssssse there isssss more than meetssss the eye. hisssssss". I can just picture them in some dark alley doorway, slinking about in black trenchcoats, whispering and beckoning. One wonders how much $$$$$$$ goes into these innuendo campaigns against the president. They direct us to Murdoch's propaganda machines. Are they hired by Murdoch? The RNC? Goldman?
Why not look at fact instead? If you want real connections to Goldman instead of snake oil, look at Hank Paulson, former Goldman CEO and head of the Treasury under Bush. Read for yourself Paulson's TARP proposal. The one he begged Pelosi on bended knee to pass without question. It's short. See in black and white where Paulson asks for complete freedom to distribute $700 billion however he wishes. Read for yourself how he included clauses prohibiting any court of law from ever examining how he distributed that discretionary money. Congress was to be prohibited from ever examining what he did with it. Why? And why was it to be a gift, not a loan? Under Obama, we had loans. Under Bush, we had handouts to Wall Street. Makes one wonder: Who are these whisperers who want so desperately to oust Obama and return to the status quo?

There was a man named Saul of Tarsus who who did much worse than what Messalla did to Ben Hur and much worse than what Ben Hur did to Messala to the Christians. But Jesus made him a Christian. And Jesus made him The Apostle Paul who wrote most of the New Testament Gospel.
