Honestly if the tea party runs a candidate against the two major parties that would split Rebublicans and would probably be the best thing that could happen for the Democratic party. Also middle class taxes were at a 50 year low this year and so the tea partiers didnt have much of an argument this year.

Dylan of KS 12:17PM April 22, 2010

The only thing Mr Roff got wrong is that BOTH parties fear the Tea Party ... and well they should.

Lori of HI 3:17PM April 19, 2010

Nobody is scared of debate and disagreement.

The Tea Party folks mock debate and disagreement with intimidation and fearmongering - yelling down and dumbing down.

If the tea party and other repugs were really fiscally conservative they would be massive taking to the streets to reform Wall Street.

But instead we get a bunch of clowns who have suspended thinking to echo hatemongering rightwing radio complete with crazy klan talk and hero worship of anti-tax mass murderer like McVeigh. Americans should disgusted when people celebrate the infamous tax protester Tim McVeigh.

Pete of AR 2:20PM April 19, 2010

At every Tea Party event there should be a huge banner behind the speakers area that reads:

"I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic, and we should stand up and say, "WE ARE AMERICANS AND WE HAVE A RIGHT TO DEBATE AND DISAGREE WITH ANY ADMINISTRATION!"

Hillary Rodham Clinton

Democrat

Secretary of State

Obama Administration

It would be fun to see how the MSM would handle this as the adoptive slogan of the Tea Party Patriots.

In my neck of the woods...for every one TeaPartier that shows at a rally...there are 10 more believers behind him that couldn't show up for various reasons...i.e. keeping their job!

The Democrats AND the RINOs should both be in fear of losing their jobs and joining the millions of Americans who are unemployed.

GWB got a "free-ticket" becuse of the circumstances of his Presidency: 911-IKE-KATRINA. These are good reasons for the Government to spend. We all recognize there were mistakes but the DEMS were all on-board too.

There was NO "Agenda" to come into office and systematically destroy America as our current Obama/Pelosi/Reid "Trilogy".

The US is teetering dangerously on the edge of collapse and the full Democratic sweep of the Presidency-Senate-House seem oblivious to the ramifications of their actions.

The last Democratic "Full-Sweep" was in the Carter Era and we all remember how well that turned out for the US.

When the Republicans win back the House-Senate-Presidency....The TeaPerty will still be there to hold them accountable for their actions.

We're tired and Fed up with Washington as usual!

Time for REAL change!

Everyone should read the Constitution wrote:

"How come its become crystal clear most these tea baggers are pushing anti-Constitutional garbage, fabricating lies to stir up fear and hate, and indulging in a fanciful racist, class warfare agenda. The charade is up. The tea baggers are just sandbagging a Democratic president who has to clean up the mess the Republicans left the country in."

I love it when you can see someone drowning in his own kool aid.

Harry Vederchi of MD 3:15PM April 16, 2010

I'm all for living up to the Constitution and all for the country to grow with fine philosophy the founders envisioned, but the tea party double talk is hypocritical. How come its become crystal clear most these tea baggers are pushing anti-Constitutional garbage, fabricating lies to stir up fear and hate, and indulging in a fanciful racist, class warfare agenda. The charade is up. The tea baggers are just sandbagging a Democratic president who has to clean up the mess the Republicans left the country in.

Sure, let's be fiscally responsible and let's bring back civility.

Edgar of ID 1:44PM April 16, 2010

You can talk about opinion polls all you want. The truth is that pocket sized copies of the US Constitution are selling like never before and that is a good thing for this country and a bad thing for those who want to subvert it. On november 2nd the warning to dirtbag politicians who didn't listen to "WE THE PEOPLE" will be "THE VOTERS ARE COMING", "THE VOTERS ARE COMING."
