Look for Supreme Court ruling...

Bill Hedges of MO 5:20PM March 22, 2010

Would you want to be held as a war prisoner with Stupak ? We now know Stupak's character or is it lack of character then maybe its lack of legal information and lack of law knowledge.Surely he doesn't lack for this- He is a law-maker.

Is Obama a king or a dictator that makes the law or does Congress make them? Isn't this America? Then there's prior law cases in the federal courts; does these opinions, rules and decisions mandate legal provisions to be in any new Law ?

Now Let me hear it twice; All together.Yea for Big-Brother's Executive Order !!

Since Stupak lives near Canada I suggest that He move there and I believe He will get a lot of help in the near future if Americans aren't broke and bankrupted by this health-care law with its additional costs, more taxes, fines and expenses for 17000 additional IRS agent's payroll with their retirement and health-care benefits to enforce this much desired mandated law.

I do not deny obama campaigned for health care reform. Does that mean any reform is acceptable ? According to polls people are not happy.

He also said transparency. What happened was behind closed doors.

Bill Hedges of MO 4:09PM March 22, 2010

Yes it is expected obama should be President for another near 3 years. You have failed to take into account recent history.

Newt revolution occurred with less than what we now have. If right, a larger majority in Congress could occur. If mandate is achieved obama could be forced to sign bill to repeal his health bill.

Example, Bill Clinton never signed a balance budget until forced upon him. 3-5 times he refused to sign. Government was on verge of shutting down. Then Clinton signed and Bill took balancing the budge under his wings.

The benefits that do begin soon are things in Republican plans anyhow with some difference. No 4 year wait for all benefits. During which time you pay taxes on something you don’t get.

Obama has done exactly what he said he would during the campaign and since. He is not two faced, and your comment is just another typical fringe talking point.

Tell us what he said that was two-sided. Fill us in.

Disagree with his views any time. We are all entitled to our own opinions. But don't accuse him of not keeping his word. He has kept his word. He hasn't lied yet.

Are you?

how timely - just a few weeks away from Holy Week. Disingenuous for him to don the label "Pro-life". I hope he's naive -otherwise he's delusional, or - he hasn't fully disclosed what else they bought his vote with. Shame on him -- what a cost. Is everything "negotiable"?

L Petraglia of MA 3:58PM March 22, 2010

Are you kidding?!? Are we actually still believing Obama and keeping him at his word? Which word is that, I guess it depends on what side of his mouth it comes from!!!!

Dee of NJ 3:52PM March 22, 2010

the existing bill denies coverage for abortion. Period. Also - we have had this rule built into all our bills the past 40 years. No need to add extra wording. No need to change existing methodologies that protect life.

Stupak is an ardent pro-life politician. No one can take that away from him. The Right is just angry because he voted for the bill. His actions have not changed nor his positions on abortion. He is against it. Period. He made that clear, and I respect his willingness to stand up for the pro-life position.

Conservatives have this bad habit of treating anyone who doesn't vote their way as vile and evil. These lemmings are the Stepford children of Boehner.

The American people are divided over just about everything. Why can't you figure that our?
