I would like to argue your beliefs, but nothing concrete there to disprove. All conjecture.

If you could give examples of Republicans being liars.

No isues given as example.

Just insults.

In a polls run since WW2 by Gallop, obama is #1 as biggest loser in one year. Far ahead of Bush in 2nd.

There are few (if any) polls that show favor to his agenda. People have wised up. Public still like him personally, but that to will pass, if he doesn’t change his ways.

Obama’s shirt tails appears non-existent. That will hurt him bad in passing his legislation.

Sadly obama said he did not get truth of health care plan across (yeah, it was. Don‘t want obamacare). Who’s fault obama. You gave countless speeches. Where was the repeated campaign promised CSPAN coverage ? Why was plan developed behind closed doors ? Remember transparency ? Why the hugh pay offs for votes. For a great important bill. Why the Rush ? No rush now.

Explain how adding large numbers of people to medicare helps broke medicare. Plus plan was to weaken more by removing $ ½ trillion. Then increase numbers to medicad and only fund partial for 3 years. Then bang after Presidential election States must fund all.

Fact coming out MA has State health plan similar to yours. They have near 100% enrollment, also near restricting care. State health plan is deep in debt.

Top it all off drastically needed health care would not go fully into effect until 2013-2015. However we will start paying for it immediately. Plan so good and will reduce debt, WHY THE WAIT ? Smells rotten obama.

Yes, obama looked small.

I to would not take family to church since elected except by myself to give a speech. I would not have given speech. I would have videoed my speech to Congress and the American people out of shame.

Most sad was obama asking for a better plan. He knows of one. Been sent to him. By Republicans. Of course he can’t use that. Yes obama mentioned Republican tort reform. But obama only wants to study idea, you see, trial lawyers are second largest contributors to Democrates. You saw how car union folks got the gold mines.

A Republican Doctor Congressman wanted to go line by line on Health bill, a obama earlier promised he would do. Need I say, obama never responded to that request.

Yes, obama’s words and deeds have come back to haunt him. Results did not gain stature for him.

suggest Alz try the Dog Whisperer site instead

catharsis is good for the psyche -- but untreated mange is nasty {and apparently online dating is a b!tch}

. . . and yes it's hard to be POTUS - especially when One was billed as the new savior {but at least he didn't have to give up his trusty Blackberry - and perhaps President Bush left his dogeared copy of "vocabulary for dummies" in the Oval Office}

I started out reading this string... then skimming... and then wondering when is this going to end?

My overall impression is that of a group of dogs milling about, like at a cocktail party, smelling each other's butts and trying to be clever - for whom and why?

I'll bet that each and every one of you have a Blackberry and a copy of "vocabulary for dummies"!

Guess I'm just sick and tired of 'talking heads'. Do you get paid for this?

Yeah, somebody who agrees with me and thought the speech was bad.

Don't get me wrong, on first look it sounded good, if you just watched or listened to it, it sounded good, but if you read the transcript, he whines a lot. He complained about Congress and the ex-president eight times. Also, surprisingly in the state of the union speech of all places, he complained about the Supreme Court. This of course doesn't include his populist rabble rousing speel.

All together when you look at it a second time, ie. reading the transcript, his speech divides the nation and makes more enemies for him and his administration than friends. This is not good for a politician and especially the president. It was a bad speech that I'd have to rate as a "D".

He could have done better, should have done better. It bodes poorly for his second year.

dear dear Senator Byrd {who doesn't know where he is half the time} as President pro tempore of the Senate is 3RD in the line of presidential succession, {currently behind Vice President Joe Biden} and 2ND - Speaker of the House Queen Pelosi.

if President Obama doesn't quit bottling his emotions up so tightly inside AND smoking a pack & day -- he's going to go SPRONG

and then WHERE does that leave America?

poster politians for TERM LIMITS no doubt

Bork the wizard of O who has no foot in reality. I would be happy if people like the author of the wizard of O would move to Iraq, the beautiful country King george built.

More chicken little nonsense from a person obviously afraid of their own shadow.

I never bought into this terrorist fear mongering. Take your fear elsewhere.

And get your facts straight.

Steve of NC 7:59AM January 29, 2010

Viable ethical leaders are hard to come by. The current charade is

demoralizing at best; embarrassing at least. And the record of the opposition doesn't have much to offer by way of integrity. Perhaps it is time for 3rd and 4th parties -- or, a real reform of Congressional practices and holding the administration accountable for it's outcomes! Where is the integrity and grit to come from to reform the executive and the congress? It must come from a committed electorate.
