The Obama Spending Freeze is Simply Not Credible

A bit like shutting the barn door after the horses have gone?

This hastily prepared "turnaround" speech was just that...further diversion from what we're doing behind closed doors.

A bit late to be trying to help small business when most of us have already folded.

Same with mortgages, how bout' using the 2nd half of that TARP money Bush left you to "convince" the Banks to help homeowners?

8 Billion for HIGH SPEED RAIL??? What the F...?

When have you or ANYBODY you know "travelled" on a train???

WE really NEED that!

AND I'm extremely tired of hearing the same ole story about Bush and The Republicans sinking the Economy...

WASHINGTON "business as usual" sunk the economy and Obama-Reid-Pelosi "Chicagoland" politics are finishing the job post-haste.

The polls I said we released "TONIGHT" (now yesterday) in previous post were reported by Brian Williams on NBC evening news. If you can still find that broadcast, that's what I was talking about.

Most of us had some pretty high hopes that Obama would actually deliver on at least some of his promises but it seem thats not to happen. Instead of apologizing to the American people and turning the ship to the right course, he still today chooses to do whatever he personally thinks is right for us. Maybe he's right, afterall, He's the Pres & we're only 300 million little people.

In the illusionary world that the Obama Admininstration inhabits there are only the reflections of an economic policy. Freezing discretionary federal spending is only an illusion created by a master of the art of sleight of hand. Mr. Obama would do well to reduce and cap all federal spending limits if he wants to save his free fall to obscurity. Talking will not solve this problem only strong leadership and a firm fiscal policy can put the economy on a path to recovery. Obama continues to talk, but appears to lack the commitment and discipline to make any real progress to recovery. We need a more experienced and thoughtful leader in the Office of the President.

Hey Muser - How about sharing a link to those polls -- or at least telling us a little bit more about them, like who conducted them.

Obama inherited a mess from George W. Bush caused by his failure to enforce and regulate the financial markets. It destroyed the U.S. and world economy. Obama tried to make changes albeit with too much emphasis on healthcare. He was stymied by the lunatic fringe which is mostly opposed of Republican activists. It is now time to stop blaming him and give him more time to change the focus and work on more regulation for financial industry thieves and try to create jobs and stimulate the economy. If he does this, then he is a success in that he is doing what he should. The last thing we need is a return to the no leadership Republicans.

At some point, the light will dawn and even former supporters of this lie machine will have to face the fact that every "change" is the new trick to draw attention away from "non-performance" with a stall for ? ? ? ? the next "non-performance."

The way out of this is for the voters to take control, hold this WH to it's promises -- which we know it will never deliver, but at least it might stay out of our way while America goes on and runs its own life. Don't wait for this can of worms to deliver; America, move on without the snake oil salesmen.

Calling me an idiot does not change the facts. Obama is being "rejected" mainly by those disappointed that he is not actually "leading" by charging left as advertised. Who do you think elected him? The centrists?

As for Palin in 2012, I guess you'd like that. But Scott Brown just knocked some of her shine off among your crowd. By the time she actually has to debate the large GOP field and reveals something of her real ideas for the country, she'll be relegated to spinning like Beck on Fox News Channel.

Meanwhile, the further left Obama goes, the higher his poll numbers will recover. Polls just released TONIGHT indicate that people are correctly blaming Republicans in Congress, then Democrats in Congress and then Obama for our governmental and economic woes---in that order.

Hey Muser, how in the world did you find Peter Groff ? Shouldn't you be trolling around at places like Drudge and Rush Limbaugh ?

I'm so glad to see that idiots like you can't see the light.

"Go left you say", well, I hope he does ! That way, we'll have a Republican House and Senate come this fall. And an emasculated President. Oh, wait . . .

If you think Mr. Obambi is concerned with people making more than $50,000, think again. He wants EVERYONE to be poor and they like it when people are in misery, because people like you are too idiotic to see what's happening - Obambi's agenda is being REJECTED like Dwight Howard swatting away Spud Webb's layup . . .

I'm so glad you visited to spew your idiocy so now I'm confident we WILL win back Congress.

And . . . just to be clear, SARAH PALIN will be president in 2012 . . . thanks to idiots like you who think Obambi should go FURTHER LEFT.

Idiot.
