The Democrats and Obama wantm to kiss up to Wall Street and the big banks. John McCain has done the first good thing since his defeat: restore Glass Steagall. Why is Obama opposed to this legislation? Why does he like "Business as Usual"? Why will he setlle for a health care bill that cuts $500B from Medicare and allows Big Insurance to weasel out on "no pre-existing conditions"? Inquiring minds like to know?

The WH and Congress have lost touch with America and become a world onto their own. That needs to be correct with a strong reform of Congressional practice, lawsuits against unconstitutional enactments, etc. Americans will support that; do it while we're still all in pain from Healthcare Reform Abuse !

America still waits for promises of speeches, given during the most expensive Presidential campaign in history, to materialize into actions that will be positive for a Nation facing unprecedented debt, deficits and unemployment.

There is nothing in the present bills right now being reconciled in the "conference committee" that is not known. The debate has been dragging on for more than six long months and all that the "doing nothing" and obstructing Republicans did was try to use every possible means to undermine it rather than play a constructive role. For those of you who are whining and moaning, where were you all this while? If you were asleep and have just woken from a deep slumber, then all I can say it too bad, go back to sleep.
The current Health Care bill definitely falls far short of what many Americans who voted last year expect. For those who think "doing nothing" or letting the present status quo continue are people who care just about themselves and their own selfish comfort. Kicking the can down the street and hope things will automatically change like the "do-nothing" Republicans, is like hoping that "grandma and grandpa" will kick the bucket before their time and leave you behind a pile of treasure. Doing nothing is not an option it will only exasperate and bankrupt people and the nation.
Those who voted last November are far greater in numbers than the sore-losers. They expect that the current rotten and corrupt system be replaced with one that provides fair value to those who pay. The current rotten system is getting to be worthless day by day. It is like a block of "Swiss Cheese" with many holes that keeps costing more and simultaneously providing less and less every year. America as a nation spends twice more than any country in proportion to its size and yet gets less then half with millions without anything at all. That's because the Republicans and the Insurance industry want to skim more and more of the money to line their ever fattening bellies while honest hardworking people are left high and dry to suffer in pain.
The Republicans had absolute power for eight years and they didn’t lift a finger, except squander the national treasury on worthless wars and nation building for some thankless people far away, thus sending this country into a deeep sink hole.

just like before with the republican, this bill is wrong got to no public option with that Liberman undertable help get the bill pass ya see, something u thing might go one way still end up passing the law the other way around. So now 2 incumben senators and 1 democrat governeor drop out of their races because they don't have enought popularity in their own state. Pelosi is just another version of another Gingrich which is go on and on to do it sort of thing that would harm the party more than good, with her destructive behavior, i mean she want to put Bush on trail just like Gingrich wana put Clinton on trial for her stink own political good, at the end still get nothing done maybe she should quit her job for the shake of the people. Pass idiot bill that would make would make burden on tax payer soon us could be more into the sink hole with deficit up to trilion level, bail out a bunch of worthless bank, and car company that don't make profit gain in capitalist world, i mean why are keep blowing up the bubble like throwing money into the sea, so because Obama could ask China and Russia to put money into US like Clinton and Bush to be able to buy of right to own part of the US so he go to meet up with India to sale out our nation as well. Obama is like heading to the right direction on making fail decision, more eligal soon become legal resident with the pardon just like Bush and Clinton did back then so soon u tax payer have to support a group of people that make babies like rabit and eat up the whole social system that was decide for the so call true american people.
