Great stuff. (sorry for the ridiculously short comment, but what else was I supposed to say?) :)

Isn't it marvelous to watch our version of Democracy in action? All the world sits and marvels at the contortions of our elected Representatives and Senators trying to whittle this log called Health Care Reform into some recognizable and acceptable shape.

Folks in Sweden, Canada, England, and many other industrialized nations must wonder how a country with a "Defense" budget the size of ours can sweat and heave over something as important as health care for everyone. 57% of our national budget goes to "Defense," a dollar amount that totals almost as much as the combined defense budgets of the rest of the world, and here we are without universal health care coverage AND likely to end up that way after all the sweating and heaving.

Does it yet look like time to reconsider why we anguish over killing fetuses while we are in two wars and continue to figure out ways to make more likely? Is it possible we will never learn that we're our own worst enemy? REAL Health Care Reform hangs in the balance, I'd say.

What really gets under my skin about this whole health care plan is that this is virtually the same scam that President Bill Clinton and the 103rd Congress (both Democratic, no surprise) tried to shove down our throats 15 years ago. The American people vehemently-rejected it then and do so all the more today. What part of "no" don't the Democrats understand here? We do not want our health care in the hands of impersonal, narcissistic, corrupt and egomaniacal politicians and bureaucrats who don't care a whit whether we live or die...only how much control they have over us and what the cost will amount to. Those who don't learn from past history are desined to repeat it...and if 1994 is precedent, the arrogant Democratic socialists running DC now better look out!

It is unfathomable for those of us who believe abortion to be murder of an innocent life to include it in a healthcare bill.

This must be one of the most blatant oxymorons:

Abortion-healthcare

Sound unreasonable? Try the dictionary.

Abortion: 1 : the termination of a pregnancy after, accompanied by, resulting in, or closely followed by the death of the embryo or fetus

Look closely at the definition. DEATH of the fetus.

How could we as a nation be so foolish as to include that in healthcare?

abortion should only allow in case of rape, incest, and complication and danger to the mother life of the person give birth to the child, other wise i don't think this should be allow in any other way to wasted tax payer money. stop put more burden on the tax payer money please of CA 4:27PM December 08, 2009

Actually, I thought they had defined abortion as "preventative treatment" and it is thus required that all insurance policies cover it regardless of federal money.

Sadly, not only is obamacare a sham for the American tax-payer but everything this administration has done or intends to do, is aimed at either infuriating, inflaming, polarizing, embarrassing, humiliating and ridiculing AMERICA. He has surrounded himself with an Attorney General and czars, cabinet members and others about who we ask ourselves, what is thei agenda here? The Attorney General has stopped investigations of a number of House and Senate members who should be under indictment now, he has ordered the terrorists to be tried as if they are American citizens, not enemies of the state through military tribunal, etc. I can go on and on but just thinking about the State of the Union and most of our elected officials in Congress sitting back, doing nothing to "right" the "wrongs" as if they are puppets (and most are so egotistical they think they will get re-elected) makes me disgusted as well as scared. We are in dire straights, America, morally, ethically, economically and philosophically.

that the argument has become who will pay for the killing - not whether or not the killing of the unborn for the sake of personal convenience is wrong.

Our society seems to plumb new and darker depths of hedonistic behavior daily.

It seems the abortion issue is just a diversion. As per Robert Creamer -- the convicted felon who, inspired by Saul Alinsky, wrote “Stand Up Straight: How Progressives Can Win,” which contains the guidelines for the Obamacare scam -- details like abortion do not matter. They will "compromise" on any such "details." What matters is just gaining control. Once in control, they'll do as they please.

And we can see the horrors they have in store for us based on Obama's pro-abortion and pro-infanticide (late-term abortion) stand, and the aberrant stands of Obama's Health Care Czar Ezekiel Emanuel and Science Czar John Holdren.

Obama's Health Care Czar Ezekiel Emanuel, rightfully called "Doctor Death," would make Dr. Kervorkian proud.

Dr. Emanuel has said that "Medical care should not be given to those who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens."

As per Dr. Emanuel, your mother suffering from Alzheimer’s or your child diagnosed with Down’s Syndrome SHOULD NOT receive medical care. http://freedomedium.com/2009/07/barack-obama-appoints-doctor-death-as-health-care-czar/

And Obama's "Science Czar" John Holdren has called for population-control policies such as forced abortions, mass sterilizations, and mandatory population controls. http://www.prisonplanet.com/john-holdren-obamas-science-czar-forced-abortions-and-mass-sterilization-needed-to-save-the-planet.html

Lies do not change the FACT that we are broke and Obamacare will further destroy our economy, our future and the future of our children and grandchildren.

Additionally, lies do not change the FACT that Obamacare is another scam to enslave us.

Pray the fraudulent and criminal Obamacare bill slips forever into oblivion!
