It didn't help that the President backed Corzine did it? If you toe the line with Pelosi now, you WILL WALK THE PLANK, come next election. Who do you want behind you, the Dems or the PEOPLE WHO YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO SERVE? Seems like a no brainer to me.

I hope Pelosi takes them all down and she will if they vote for this crap.

Dave of WI, I wish your statements applied to the Dems here in CA. Unfortunately, Pelosi, Boxer, Feinstein and all the other hard-line Dems here in CA are voted in by a very supportive constituency. They'd all love to see this stuff pass with Single Payer, wealth redistribution, etc. I live here and love the people for the most part, but the local majority of political views I find very distasteful.

So, while I'd love to say the CA dems that are owning this debacle are scared of their constituency and their next election, the opposite is more likely to be true. That's what truly annoys and perplexes me.

One more comment on wealth redistribution. Somebody's point about rich people knowing how to manage (or hide) their money would apply even more, so that it would simply be redistributing wealth from the hard working (and honest) sucker to the lower class. Again it would be the middle class that gets screwed in the end. If you want to talk about the class warfare going on, look at elite politicians and their enabling of the few corporations that are filled with power-hungry leaders.

When I think of Nancy Pelosi I think the San Francisco, California flower child of the 1960's. Who whould have thought that such as one of those would be in a position of virtually unchecked power in the USA. How terrible for this country. Make no mistake, the foxes are now RUNNING the henhouse.

There is a ton of spin focused on a handful of Dems. The Blue Dogs are in the spotlight, but that's just so we don't see all the knee-knocking going on with the "safe" Blue State Dems.

The biggest component moving in these recent elections was Independents. Who is a Independent going to turn on in the next election cycle? I think they are likely to show some love towards Dems that ran as Moderates and acted like Moderates. It's the Dems that ran in the Center and then turned hard Left towards Big Government/Socialism that are going to be shunned in the 2010 cycle by the Independent voters they betrayed.

Let the media propaganda soothe the spirits of the Blue State Dems so they don't break ranks and bolt for the doors. They know they really need to do some damage control in their Districts. (It's the Economy, Jobs , and Taxes - Stupid!... and you only have 360 days to fix it and save your job..) Being a Pelosi Blue Cat Dem isn't going to save 'em, not a one.

Just ask Jon Corzine how that White House/DNC safety net worked out for a Blue State Governor.

I'm in a Blue State (Wisconsin). Our Gov Doyle knows he's going to lose next year (or maybe he thinks if he wins he'll get indicted?) He's stepping down. Huge Vacuum of Power coming up. No leading Dem in Wis wants to run. It would cost a Republican more money to run as Dog Catcher than to run for Governor this cycle. Obama came out this week to try some arm-twisitng on the Dem. Mayor of Milwaukee. Think he'll take a pass as well on running. Wisconsin's citizens have been so screwed over by Democrat domination that you can smell the blood on the water.

I would think that the Blue Dogs have the least to fear. Especially if we could talk Clint Eastwood into moving up the road apiece and run against Queen Pelosi.

What is in it for Obama and Pelosi anyway if the Obama HealthCare passes as it is? If they really want affordable healthcare, why are they planning on having HMO run this, HMOs' quality of care has gone south for years while premiums skyrockets and profits hits all time high. Why does Obama plan to give 14-20 million illegal immigrants amnesty so they can get free healthcare? Oh yes, we already give them free food and free education. I know many American Citizens who can not afford a home and food, but we should house/food to the illegals. The middle class will end up paying for all this. The rich are rich because they know how to handle their monies (ask any politicians, they know how to hide money.) I say follow the money, just like ACORN, let's look into Planned Parenthood Clinics. By the way who paid the bill for the two separate trips to Europe to court the Olympics to Chicago?

at Nancy Pelosi - study her puckered puss - and tell me you think anything she promoted would be worth a damn. Ditto for Reid, Shumer, Frank, Boxer, Watson Feinstein, Wasserman - Schultz, Franken, Waters, and on and on... Sheesh....all of 'em - absolute DRUTS.

My God! These people are really the brightest, best and most honorable among us? We are deep in a crap-crack.

If you are an AARP member and do not support their decision to throw you under the bus there is a moderate alternative in American Seniors Association ("ASA"). Google ASA to get information and you can shred your AARP card and send it to them and get an extra year for no cost.
