Not one bad thing about the man. Just a bunch of garbage.

Kind of funny the family he moved into is the liberal's King family though.

California has been wrecked by our Republican governor. His past includes family members who were fascists in the Hitler era, but the first furor over that died away and seems to have been forgotten. He married into one of the richest American families and owns several homes. Extreme wealth seems to isolate some people from knowing what life is like for the average family. The recall that put him in office was a terrible mistake. I can't remember what the vote was, but I believe a small turnout sent him to Sacramento. When he leaves office, he's set for life, so what does he care?

Christie is extremely Ban=Abortion. The current cost to taxpayers now, to support one unwed mom and one unaborted conception is $500,000. Taxpayers lose their assets to give that one person and her child welfare, ADC, food stamps, healthcare and subsidized housing. Churches don't care because their real estate is tax exempt. As Governor, he will be depriving citizens of their Constitutional right to determine family size. He'll be treating women like herd animals, making them produce more tithers. He can't know women to whom he denies abortion, so he'll be practicing medicine without a license. Some women can never safely be mothers. There are diseases of bone, kidneys, heart, liver, etc. Some women are too old or young to be mothers without being crippled or killed. Billions of women have "died in childbirth" under the best of conditions, since our species evolved. This Governor's legacy will be that of a religious zealot who gives first allegiance not to the Constitution but the bylaws of his church. Was his election rigged?

I don't know if you are one of those people that got the answer for everything or not. I will assume you have a open mind.

If you arn't you won't read my link. But then others read these comments so not a waste of my time either way.

.....

"Are the elections of 2009 precursors of the same kind of massive partisan upheaval in Congress that we experienced in 1994? The historical data says yes, they are."

"In Virginia, the outcomes in 1993 and 2009 were almost identical. In 1993, after the Democratic incumbent, Doug Wilder, could not seek reelection, the governor’s race pitted Republican George Allen against Democrat Mary Sue Terry. Allen won handily, 58-41 — virtually the same margin by which McDonnell defeated Deeds this week."

"And in New Jersey, the parallels between 1993 and 2009 are equally striking. Democrat Jim Florio, then the governor, was seeking his second term against Republican Christie Todd Whitman. Just as in 2009 Chris Christie beat Jon Corzine, so in 1993 Whitman edged out Florio by 49-48. Chris Christie’s margin was bigger, but his vote share was almost identical to Whitman’s."

So this is the sign of a gop comeback. You must be joking. You gained 2 statehouses. Although an accomplisment, it's not earth shattering. What really is more telling is the 2 loses in the Congress. If you had claimed those two also you might have an argument. But lets let the facts speak for themselfs. The 23rd district in New York has not had a Democrat in office since U.S. Grant was in office. And the new Governer of Virginia does not pass the Rush limbaugh conservative test. This was most certainly not a comeback.

JDZ57 of WI 2:10PM November 05, 2009

Whoa!!! It's the Governators fault? The one that sleeps with the other side? The one that inherited a government bent on driving business out of the state because they can't be competitive in the other 49? The same one that has threatened to shut down the State to try to rein in the huge deficit created by generations of Democrat legislation? The same one that supported California's Global Warming legislation to the horror of the rest of the conservatives. Incidently, this just happens to be making matters worse in the construction industry especially for the small businesses that do the hiring. I could continue on and on but watching the State AND local municipalities head for receivership while the Government employees cry for more entitlements that can't be paid as it is, doesn't excite me much. The private sector being decimated by the left shrinks and the Government sector which can only exist on the back of the public sector grows....... What IS, and you can debate the definition as much as you like, the only outcome. My suggestion is that IF the public employees really want their entitlements they better focus on generating and private sector that grows VERY vibrantly as it has alot of catch up to do.

Being from Ca you should know Gov. is not responsible for everything. Gov. can'r write financial bill and sign into law. Congress must pass. Unfortuneltly.

But you in your wisdom blame Gov. for all.

You have strong union that hurts yu all.

Yes, you the man.the only man. All other are obama haters. Right. Love labels, don't you.

States not in financial trouble are run by mostly Republicans. Your liberal Ca. is different. Way out there. Liberals, home of Nancy The Air Head Lady

Bill Hedges of MO 1:22AM November 05, 2009

lets see how proud you are when reality sinks in, and you start losing services and jobs in your state courtesy your new GOP overlords. We have a Republican Governor in CA and hes been a disaster. Since your obviously a mindless Obama hater, I am sure you won't mind. All the spin in the "liberal media" keeps forgetting that Dems gained two more congressmen, and Repubs lost a seat they had held for 140 years.

You enjoyed that spin as I did. How about Maine vote against same sex married. States 31 times done same. Every time.

Here is one Nancy Pelosi really, really liked:

"California Stealin’"

"Sacramento demands a loan from taxpayers."

"Desperation grabs for revenue are nothing new in politics, but California is once again leading the way in creative financing."

"To help close yet another gaping budget deficit, now estimated to be $7 billion this year and reach as high as $20 billion next, Sacramento lawmakers have authorized a 10% increase in the amount of taxes withheld from worker paychecks starting November 1 and through 2010. The extra withholding tax will reduce Californians’ take-home pay by about $1.7 billion for the year. But the lawmakers say this isn’t a tax increase. OK, how about calling it a compulsory interest-free loan from taxpayers to the state."

Spend, spend, spend. Tax, tax, tax. Nancy Pelosi won----We pay. America's future...

Cut expenses...NEVER

Bill Hedges of MO 9:04PM November 04, 2009

I wonder if Nancy Pelosi has anything on "Baghdad Bob"? If she thinks the Dems won last night she is going to be really thrilled in November 2010 when the other shoe drops and they lose wholesale.
