ACORN Scandal Could Embarrass Obama

What Im seeing is Republicans have invested their future in hiring watchdogs to watch for any drop of dirt they could find to tarnish and get rid of Obama. It's actually pretty scary to see the distances the entire party will go to see him fail. At this point if he fails then we fail. Sometimes we have to learn how to be teammates not the leaser all the time. This is clearly historically sound political drama.

Obama is all about public relations, photo opportunities, constantly in campaign mode and staying in power. He campaigned as a moderate but his radical left Marxist agenda is selling out America. He looks the other way, because this is all about him being able to stay in power through voter fraud with the corrupt Chicago Thug practices of organizations like SEIU and ACORN.

I find it extremely interesting that most people who are criticizing the content of this article feel the need to label themselves as conservatives before or after doing so. I just want to say that this is not an issue of Obama being a community organizer and ACORN being a non-profit community organization or a so called non-profit community organition. This has to do with Obama repeatedly endorsing this organization and having very close contacts with the organization for most of his career. President Obama even stated that he was going to consult with ACORN to shape and make the policies that would set the tone for his Presidency. He has worked very closely with this organization for a long time and has very close ties. The Acorn scandal is an embarrassment to anyone who has worked and endorse this so called non-profit organization and consulted with it for years upon years. You don't find tax evasion and human trafficking (slavery) wrong and an insult to the values and integrity of this nation and it's inhabitants? You don't find that embarrassing that this organization gets 40% of our tax dollars to enforce and promote sexual abuse towards young girls and children, causing them to be sex slaves for men to take advantage of them? Granted, the sting was a set up, but their reaction to this sting and their willingness to help these actors set up these brothals in which young 13 year old girls were going to be "SOLD" as sex slaves. You don't find that unethical? You don't find it embarrassing and very suspicious that with the track record ACORN has with scandals and lying and tax evasion and voter fraud that a lot of politicians (primary Democrats) have continued to endorse this organization (at least until the human trafficking sting came out-whoops) You don't find it embarrassing that our President and Congress are not pushing for an investigation on the operations of this organization, an organization that has recieved millions of our dollars from the stimulus package. Curious to know how giving ACORN millions of dollars was going to stimulate our economy in the first place. You don't find that embarrassing... at all? That angers me. This is the organization that President Obama has very close ties and a long history with and now the organization is being investigated for tax evasion and human trafficking (sex trade, innocent children, teens). If the President is not embarrassed and outraged by this then he is a man with no conscience or integrity. This concerns me..deeply. It grieves me..deeply, that my President does not comment or denounce this organization even after knowing all this information. This is about judgement. President Obama has not shown a good track record of surrounding himself with moral and trusted people. I'm sorry, but he has not. How can you trust a leader when the ones closest to him (all around) have been apart of scandals, hold racist views, endorse and hide human trafficking (slavery),etc? You can't

He won by 232 votes but it is understood that ACORN registered thousands of voters in this particular election. So for those liberals out there that say this corruption is meaningless I beg to differ!

It seems no one has addressed the question that I posed at the outset. Why would this be embarrassing to Barack Obama?

There are a number of weird myths and tangents that everyone seems to be going on though.

1. Obama cannot pardon Roman Polanski because a president can only pardon crimes under federal jurisdiction and so it is actually only the governor of CA who could do so, but thanks for the nonsensical tangent.

2. Obama represented ACORN in one case in 1995. Obama was a lawyer. Do you understand what a lawyer is? I don't think that the lawyers that represented OJ are out there in the world doing all they can for OJ nowadays. It is a job, and one is hired, and payed and there is a fiduciary duty to that.

3. Someone quotes Obama in a speech made to ACORN while campaigning. It is not unusual for a candidate to appeal to their audience when campaigning to drive home that they're "on their side", as that is the main thing that politicians do when campaigning. Your assertion is just like asserting that a politician addressing school teachers must know everything about them and be tight with them because they were told that education will be supported and he's been fighting for the same principles they believe in. Quite a preposterous line of reasoning.

4. Another person lists names, some of them great upstanding non-profits, some crooked politicians, some advisors whom many republicans agree with politically (not surprising really is it?), and some of them billionaire businessmen who give substantially to charities. The common thread seems to be that they have all liked, talked to, and/or supported Obama at one point. Do I need to even address this kind of reasoning?

5. Many Americans seem to have black and white political views of conservative=republican=business=capitalist=god=family=anti-abortion=country-folk, and whatnot, and liberal=democrat=art/entertainment=socialist=new agey=pro-abortion=city-folk. I'm a conservative and I'm absolutely convinced that this is what keeps some other conservatives voting for politicians that they think will help cut spending and help business, but actually help business monopolies to crush small businesses crippling the economy while inflating the GDP, bailing out the monopolies with welfare when they become incompetent rather than letting competition take them, and spending more than any other types of administrations.

So as a conservative, and voting on actual issues, rather than this ACORN fluff and other News Corp. capitalism=monopoly-welfare propaganda, I can safely say that I have to vote the lesser of two evils, and in this case, sticking to the facts, conservatively, it was clearly Obama.

But, I'd still like an answer to why this is embarrassing to Obama, as opposed to just embarrassing to the author? Like maybe a logical train of thought. Something with weight rather than "I saw on Fox News" such and such, and was told I should feel such-and-such way, etc. etc. etc.

It's sick that a man related to such blasphame is running not only my country but the free world. I say change is needed and not liberal change.
