Democrats’s Heavy-Handed Healthcare Policies Are Backfiring

While I don't agree with the whole package,it does have some good things in it.Also the gop had the power for eight years and did nothing to improve healthcare. They passed the part d plan that has hurt all seniors because of the coverage gap.It was written not for the best plan for seniors but how the insurance companies could benefit best.So to all those who say

the majority party needs to be replaced.I say this. Why replace a party that at least in trying to do something about our healthcare problems. Why not replace the do-nothing republicans.

There are problems with the bill, but to start over should never be an option. Why not look at the good parts and work to get rid of the bad.I think that would be the best way to get a bill that would be the best it can be for the people. No bill of the

importance will be perfect,at least it's a start in the right direction.Just to sit back and put us in two wars with no way to pay for them and no notion of healthcare reform is the way either. There are no death panels in this bill but the insurance companies have let alot of people die because of dening coverage.Don't throw the very people out that are trying to get people coverage.Instead throw the do nothing policy out!!!

Both Republicans and Democrats in Washington and in California are corrupt. They all need to be fired.

We do need to clean house.

I doubt that they can be replaced totally. However, I think that it is time for a third party to help keep the Republicans and Democrats in line.

Obama has taken a page from Ronald Reagan's book.

As President, Reagan, spent the Soviet Union into bankruptcy.

As president, Obama is spending the United States into Oblivian!

Repugnuts lost the last election and just can't get over it.

Now the same do-nothings think they should be able to reverse an election by lies, name calling, shouting down, and temper tantrums. Grow up.

Get over the fact all you whiners are irrelevant (Roff included), and all your nasty dishonesty just shows you don't have anything to offer anyone anyway. This kind of nasty blogging demonstrates quite convincingly why the Republicans are down to some 20% of the country anymore and continuing to decline. The GOPs are down to the 20% wingnut factor as not only their base, but their entire constituency. Lyndon LaRouche surely is becoming the new Republican leader, behind the ditto-drugster and the psychotic-Beck. No wonder Republicans are an endangered species.

Being hateful, wacko and blissfully ignorant is no way to go through life.

The Democrats are showing how much out of control they are in representing the people. The Republicans aren't much better so it is time for a new party to emerge, that will represent the people. Big business has infiltrated both existing parties, so now we need a party that big business can't infiltrate and control. Don't kid yourself if you think big business isn't an integral part of the Democrats. Remember that Obama is a millionaire too. Obama is in touch with the common man as any millionaire is. Sure he is. Actually Obama has something in common with the common man, he is ripping off the common man's retirement funding (Social Security) and the common man's medical funding (Medicare Trust Funding). Long Live King Obama.

To all those with negative remarks, where were you when the Bush administration and the Republicans were lying and deceiving the nation about an unwarranted war, awarding Halliburton, KBR and Blackwater billions of dollar in non-bid conracts, went on an unforgiveable obscene spending spree wasting billions, and billions of dollars, allowed Phil"Foreclosure" Gramm to push through deregulation that brought our nation to the brink of disaster. An administration that allowed the 'private sector' to out-source well-paid American tech jobs in Asia in exchange for lead-painted children's toys? An administration that knowingly distributed autos with exploding gas tanks, defective tires, and salmonella tainted peanut butter. Ad administration that devised "sub-prime" mortgages and mortgage-based derivatives; or a party that gave us the ENRON, WorldCom, the Bernie Madoffs, or, a party that used government "bailout" funds to award billions in bonuses to failed financial executives. A Congress that allowed "private sector" companies deny coverage and refuse to cover claims for life-perserving procedures in favor of multimillions in CEO compensation. If "private sector" insurers has wanted to make health insurance more accessible and affordable, the could have done it forty years ago, but CHOSE not to. Our members of Congress have failed to meet a dire public need when corporation-funded politicians wanted it to fail.
