In this article the info gives the consitution another view in us begin teens because we dont always pay attention or give enough effort to learn about the constution. Its an outstanding document and very disdrptive in the way that these leaders felt at the time even with begin in the state of controlled by the engiish government. It gives everyone hope to all people in america and having obama as our president.

What I think about this Constitution is that they give us the right to speak up on what we think is right, but they don't give us the right to stand to what we think is really right, but just because of the law & because that people are older then us or lived longer they have the right to tell us what to do & what to wear. I think that is stupid & its not right for older people like teachers or police or the government to push us to do what they want us to do. Like the cops for example the police would tell that we had this or we had that on us even though we didn't, but the judge won't take are word they would take the cops word & we are the ones who have to deal with the consiquences to something we didn't do. If they call this Freedom then they should let us speak up & do what we think is right, now yes there are consiquences to choose what road we take there are consiquences to everything thing you choose, but yall shouldn't give us something that we didn't even do. So next time yall should look at who the real criminals are cause its not jus us its yall to.

Although you are right in the fact that the Constitution is a unique document that does establish rights and rules that govern the people, I believe that some of the ideas you produced aren't exactly "right". The fact that you said, "why America takes up arms" is more of an opinionated statement. We don't take arms for those purposes; you can't portray America as a perfect country because of one paper. We do have our faults and taking up arms is one of them. Take a look at Iraq and Iran, though you may say that most of these things were done by a single ruler and don't reflect the ideas and thoughts of Americans, I believe they do. People in other countries also have the same rights that apply to us. Though they may not be established in those countries they are still the same and are for EVERY person here on this earth. I mean the Constitution in the beginning did not include every person. The Constitution was solely for man. Other people have fought for this single document to be applied for everyone. It should also stay that same way. You said that people sometimes oblige to bend and reshape it to accommodate their own lives. Seriously? Does that not make it seem like we, as Americans are ignorant and lazy? So much as to try and incorporate and change everything to fit our own needs. Now, I accept the fact that as time passes, things change, we as a whole are dynamic people that learn from mistakes. But we can't change one document that was suppose to serve one purpose to serve another based on what we WANT not NEED or DESERVE but on pure DESIRE. That itself does not seem right. I stand by you in the fact that this paper should protect liberty and believe it's such a waste that some people don't see that. That they consider the Constitution more as a defense then what it really should be. Guidelines. We should study the Constitution as a whole and try to understand the meaning that our Founding Fathers tried to implement into this document. You are correct in that we should devote Constitution Day to this sole purpose. Though most people nowadays are to ignorant with their own lives to even recognize what September 17th was or more so what it stands for, this country. Sadly enough this is where we are now. Though our Fathers may be proud of the roads we've taken, they may not be so fond of what were doing now. More Americans should appreciate what our past generations have done and fought for. It was not an easy process and yet we take what we have for granted. The Constitution deserves some kind of recognition. That's the least someone could do for their country.

I think that we should come together and be as on like the constitution says instead of bieng many. The constitutions should apply for eveeryone around the world not only for the United States. We as peolpe make lost of mistakes and the Constitution has help us in alot of thing, not only with the law but with our education and our freedom to be who we want to be. Thanks to the people that wrote it we have the chance to have the same oppertunitys as other people do that people from back in the days never had. I'm proud to be in the United States because we have more liberty to do anything we can then in other parts of the country. We need to come together to honor the people that wrote it and at least have a day for them. I dissagree on the government trying to change our rights because the constitution gave it to use, that is one thing that they can't take from us as a union.

My comment on the constitution is this those 200 years ago a constitution was born that gives us today the rights and privileges that we now have today our inalienable rights. The constitution defines the rights of our citizens and is an important piece of every American's life. today the constitution is understood as an article that protects the inalienable rights of every American. I believe the constitution is the character of the U.S. and should set an example to other countries if they take an interest in it.

Graham Galloway of TX 4:10PM September 18, 2009

in my opinion the constitution is none but NGB the constutution was made of a group of men that did not think of all othere but only thought of whats best for them and there familys we the people and im not really saying my self but people from all over america and in are past fought for there rights bleed for it died for it even got thrown in jail and beat for it the constitution was made by the people not by a group of men because in my point of view if it werent for all the people from are past people tell this day that still do for there rights they didnt give none to us we took it and end the end they had to give it to us because they know we the people are here to stay

This article gives me a more positive thought about the Constitution in whole. This document was a very important piece in building this country. If Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, John Hancock, and other important figures in U.S. history weren't born there would be tyranny, and there would be no government at all. This country has suceeded in many ways including this important document. Now because of this document we the people are free and able to do anything we wish whether bad or good.

Thank You for reading my Comment.

In this article the information gives the constitution another view in us being teenagers becasue we dont always pay attention or give enough effort to learn about this document. Its an outstanding document and very discrptive in the way that these leaders felt at the time even with being in the state of controlled by the english government. It gives everyone hope to all people in america and having obama as our president only hellps the situation that we are in.

I think this is a well worded and makes sense. But in my opinoin we have many rights but there are many that are still missig that peaople dont notice.People are contantly killed over rights that they were born with from God everyday. Why fight for rights that were given to you by birth.
