Check out my 3 minute commenatry on the healthcare debate. Don't forget the uninsured

I am very saddened by the selfish tone of the healthcare debate. More people seemed worried about theorectically loosing what they have than with the reality that many don't have any insurance at all. What do you think?

How is the public option supposed to help health care costs anyhow? If it could why haven't growing medicaid and medicare rolls helped it, along with growing VA, SCHIP, and other government health insurance bills.

The public option does lower costs overall, it only lowers them for some because they get subsidies and mandated lower rates. Anyone that doesn't get a subsidy won't be able to afford the insurance though, except for the rich.

If we all had college degrees and all got High paying jobs, Would that fix our economy. I would like to see the least educated person in America with a college education. But in this economy and monitory system even if we all had the highest education possible we would still need dishwashers waitress's and other jobs that are low paying jobs. When are people going to get over this better than thou complex that we have in this world.

The whole world has this problem and we are no better, Even though we claim to be.

I love America and I do not like to look at our flaws but other nations and people do.

We will always have low paying jobs, In the future if things keep going the way they are we will have a hard time making it on a million dollars a month

and people will still try and out do there neighbors and we will stil have the poor. The type of technology we make will still depend on cost and profit when we could be a whole lot better

In a record amount of time, Obama has managed to blow all the good will he used to enjoy, and now finds his ratings in a free fall. Not only that, he has divided the Democratic party, and now finds himself in real bind, with none of the choices looking good. If that wasn't bad enough, this mess is putting up to 20 seats in peril for the 2010 elections. To make matters worse, if that's possible, the more Obama promotes Healthcare reform, the lower the poll numbers go. No wonder he needs two vacations!

If we cant get free schooling, how about a cap on tuition charges.

A small segment of colleges are collecting a majority of all tuition paid. This should be reduced and spread out among all the other schools.

This is a moral obligation that out society must meet. Equal education for all!

The goverment should take over all universities and colleges and provide free college degress to all.

It is already a fact that US Cetizens are entilted to a goverment eduation.

If everyone had college degrees they would be able to afford health insurance and Doctors going to school would not draw $200,000 college bills.

The colleges are making money hand over fist and we americans are paying the bills.

Thanks for your post, Healthy debate is what we need but try not to offend the other side because they will see it as a challenge or insult and will not take you serious.

However I agree with most of what you said, Keep it up.

Debates allows for improvement and learning other methods if done so openly and friendly.

I am not a democrat or A republican I vote independent and call myself An American.

We are all Americans but in the spirit of competition we sometimes forget our nation in favor of our party.

We are all in this together, Lets not Forget that.

I would rather if we can pass health reform that it be like no other.

Let it be an example to others and be a American plan.

But We need to be sure President Obama hears the people loud and clear. Doctors harm me more than They have helped me so I understand the need for control over a doctors desire to overdose or keep from being taken advantage of.

MOVEON.ORG is a radical and divisive group that most Americans deplore. Only a very small group of nutjob liberals follow them, yet President Obama embraces them. This love affair that obama has with them is insulting to most Americans who see MoveOn as a group of very unstable individuals. Keep sending these nutjobs to the town halls, it only makes things worse. How ironic is it that Obama will fail because MoveOn stuck to him like a tick and cost him his political life.
