Get a life. Everyone needs to have some fun once in awhile. With all that's going on - and all that could be done to make life better for many -THIS is what you focus on?! Any audience that could get revved up by such a weak piece ought to give it a little more thought. All of it! Just rethink it all. It's interesting to note the reader comments fail to address anything specific in your essay. Can you say, "Lack of Content"?

All the experience A President of America needs is To be born an American, Know our important documents like the Constitution Of The United States of America, the declaration of independents and the bill of rights, and maybe a little law. We need A real American not A seasoned politicians new blood could help weeds out corruption.

More than any candidate for President in the history of the United States, Obama is a product of a PR campaign. What little substance there is of the man has had to be washed from the record books....his grades, writings, and associations have all been hidden or said to have meant nothing. Anyone who was had the intellectual honesty to ignore the onslaught of media puff pieces and soft ball loaded, image enhancing interviews, is not surprised to learn Barrack Obama is merely a radically liberal activist with no leadership skills and an ego problem. Add his public embarrassment for America and his propensity for fueling racial divides whenever he finds them, and you have a man not worthy of the highest office in the land.

He was the owner of no real accomplishments as a politician yet has handled the Presidency without humility. He calls himself a community organizer yet he looks on ordinary Americans with disdain and condescension.

He insults our intelligence on a daily basis with baseless claims, straw man arguments, and lies that are easily foiled by a few minutes on the internet.

After only 7 months, i find myself wondering if this will be the worst President of the modern era or if Obama will grow into the job as Bill Clinton did. Unfortunately, i believe Obama's goal of changing America into the image of his well hidden mentors takes priority over all else. This leaves us, as Americans, one choice.....fight this administration tooth and nail for 3 1/2 more years then quickly toss it into the dustbin of history, using it only as a example to future generations of the dangers of shallowly selecting a President on the basis of a good infomerical.

Please refrain from saying anything remotely negative about the President. You will automatically be labeled as a racist.

Yup - this is the great US of A that we live in now.

The arrogance of this administration will be its undoing. Truth be told it wasn't the rock star Obama who won the election, it was the paniced McCain who ran to Washington when the Credit Crisis emerged, and then during the debates decided that while discussing what to do it would be best to talk about earmarks, who lost it.

Obama, with the wind at his back (a very unpopular Republican in office), was not able to seal the deal until McCain proved Republican skeptics correct that he was one of the worst candidates we could have nominated. McCain's performance the week the credit crisis paniced the markets, compiled with a terrible debate performances sealed Obama's victory.

Apparently Obama's handlers would disagree; and that will be his and their undoing. Hid handlers would tell me that Obama defeated a well financed Hillary Clinton. I would retort that her natural political skills were amatuer at best, and she too was a very bad candidate because she was never embrased by her party, to the Democrats credit they were not ready to corronate her. However, make no mistake, Hillary's surge at the end proved how Obama's "Rock Star" image could easily be defeated. Had Hillary not gone for the Corronation, she would have defeated Obama easily. Not planning for post Tsunami Tuesday was effectively the end of Hillary. On how to run against Obama, the Republicans (McCain and his handlers) refused to follow Hillary's lead....The Rev. Wright stuff that was so damaging all of a sudden dissappeared.

In the end, being merely a "Rock Star" does not sell, not when there are serious issues out there. Throughout Obama's entire career he has run with the wind at his back; but the tail wind has been replaced with a head wind of real people. Gimicks and pop star status will no longer work. This guy better get serious and fast, or he will be in for a long 3+ years.

In my lifetime I have never seen a guy look so out matched and be surrounded by such incompetance. Humility and prudence would serve this President well....I won't hold my breath!

You can train this man to do comedy, card tricks etc..

You cannot teach Obama honesty or the even teach him to lead as President as he will always be a crooked Chicago organizer who associates himself with corruption and radical politics.

Hopefully in 2012 in his free time after defeat he will learn those card tricks and comedy. Even though we have seen enough of this comedy in under a year of lies and spending.

We, as a people, owe respect to the Office of President of The United States, even if we cannot respect the person holding that office. Unfortunately, I think the problem with the President is that he has never learned the lesson that he is THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. He's no longer a Democrat who must show loyalty to the party. His personal beliefs and wishes do not come into play as the President. If he was President of only the Democrats maybe, what he's doing would work, but he's not. He must govern a nation, not demonize the people he governs. He really needs to remember that he governs by the consent of the people and, as such, must put personal beliefs aside, and govern with consideration for all citizens of The United States, whether they agree with his personal beliefs or not. You cannot force a majority of the population to accept bad laws because of a personal belief of a sitting president. He must also realize that he represents the people of this country to other nations, and, as such, behave accordingly, with dignity and consideration of said people, when dealing with foreign nations.

I fully agree with you, and have often said that Obama is too junior for this position (he needs 8 to 12 years of Congressional experiential learning). His actions have proven this repeatedly (as well as his wife's inappropriate attire). More disturbing, however, is the fact that his words, his statements are, at times, unpresidential and do not evoke loyalty or even respect. While small episodes where it appears he is contradicting himself, or worse, misrepresenting the truth to the American people, can be somewhat forgiven in isolation, as these incidents continue to occur, I must give pause and question him. The anchor in all of this is the Gates/Crowley matter in which he admitted he didn't have all the facts, but then finished the sentence passing judgement in favor of a personal friend who, as the elitist Harvard Professor, had used the race card against the blue collar police officer (who refused to cave to the Prof.'s pressures when doing his duties). And he could never bring himself to issue an apology for that grossly unfair (and unpresidential) statement.

This habit of presenting himself as less-than-presidential is a big problem, and is laying the foundation upon which America will be seen (internationally) over the next four years. We are living in a global economy, and make no mistake, Obama is signaling to the world that he either does not understand the rules of engagement, or he arrogantly thinks they don't apply to him. Both messages spell out that we have junior man in the White House. A well-intentioned, charismatic man, but junior. Hillary was right - he is naive.
