I am not happy what happend in pakistan, but if you are taking the matter like Christian and Muslims, than please bring the number of muslims killed since 9/11 and tell me all of them was criminals/terrorits/extrimist?, also Quran tells us if you kill one innocent you kill the whole humanity, what you think the war happend in Iraq, Afganistan, Phalistine since 8 years these things are hapening and because of this pakistan the only country who is suffering most prbolems because of these wars, even though no pakistani was involved in 9/11. And please check news for the other country as well what they are doing with humans and rise the voice for peace instead of making issue and bringing them to WAR.....

The "savings" are calculated to come out of Medicare and medicaid.Think ...almost 50 million new beneficiaries added without cost!The result will GUT Medicare which the baby boomers need.Was Obama in THE FUZZY MATH class?Do you really want to pay your parents medical costs out of your pocket?You will have "choice" to just let them die.One change that would help would be to put Govt. workers into Social Security and Medicare and that would add payers.The seperate expensive plans for them are silly.The employee has a better deal than the taxpayer!Likewise Medicaid is more coverage than Medicare!

When religion was invented, it established the tithe system. It forced people to pay preachers. Then began the wars of conversion that continue today. The act of conversion moves the dollar value of each believer from one set of preachers to another. This is why atheism must not be scorned but encouraged. I belong to two atheist groups and I told them mot to seek tax exemption, but they did and I want it stopped. As long as MONEY is attached to religion, preachers will go after that church income, even at cost of human life. It is disgusting that they all scold against amassing material goods, but churches are all after money.

Until we control our own extremists better we really can't have too much to say about the way other countries deal with their extremists. More people are killed everyday by Christian extremists for religious reasons than by any other religion. True Christians need to STAND UP and stop "Christian Violence" and STOP "CHRISTIAN " Hate.

The 'innovative' idea of a 'pay for value / outcome' pack came after the CBO had previously pointed out this health care reform wouldn't work without 'fundamental' change in the out of date system. It is said that as much as 30 percent of all health-care spending in the U.S. -some $700 billion a year- may be wasted on tests and treatments that do not improve the health of the recipients, and this 700 billion dollars a year can cover a lot of uninsured people.
The expected Benefits of this 'innovative idea' are as follows ;
1. Meet the objective of revenue-neutral.
Supporters of the agreement say it could save the Medicare System more than $100 billion a year and 'improve'
care, that means more than $1trillian over next decade, and virtually needs no other resources including tax on the
wealthiest. Supposedly even the 'conservative' number of such savings might be able to meet the objective of
revenue-neutral.
2. Quality and affordability.
If you are a physician, and your pay is dependant upon your patient's outcome, you will most likely strive to
prescribe the best medicine earlier in the process, let alone skipping the wasteful, unnecessary treatments.
3. No intervention in decision-making.
The innovative idea of 'a pay for outcome' will more likely prompt team approach and decision, as at Myo clinic.
Under the 'pay for outcome' pack, for good reason, best practices as 'recommendations' would simply help them
make a better decision, and the government won't still have to meddle in the final, actual decision-making
process as a non-expert.
4. Speed up the introduction of IT SYSTEM.
The pay for 'Outcome' pack is most likely to expedite the introduction of Health Care IT SYSTEM.
The synergy effect of the combined Health Care IT & a pay for 'outcome' system may allow the clinicians to
'correctly' diagnose and effectively treat a patient earlier in the process so that it can measurably scale back the
crushing lawsuits and deter the excuse for unnecessary cares to make fortunes.
5. Accelerate the progress in medical science, in return, it saves more cash.

7. Reduce the emergency room visits & save immense costs.
Public health insurance plans such as Medicare and Medicaid paid for more than 40 percent of U.S. emergency
room visits in 2006, according to government figures released recently. Many experts say reducing these hospital
visits would be an important way to lower the enormous, and growing, expense of U.S. health care.
I share the opinion that unlike the insurer-friendly senate plan by 'some' members, only a strong public option will be capable of getting the premium inflation under control and saving the U.S in turbulence.
To my knowledge, a dual system tends to deliver better results than a pure single payer system. Supposedly, to be or not to be might be up to the innovations like a pay for value program, otherwise, the forthcoming start-ups may fill the void with competitive deals. The competition based on 'fair' market value would be a beauty of true capitalism, not monopoly, an objective for anti-trust.

You must understand the situation in Pakistan. Majority of Pakistanis live peacefully with minorties but Pakistan is going through a situation, where certainly foreign hand or Al Queda hand is involved. First there was shooting on Srilankan cricket team, then the attacks on Christians. There is an element that is trying to disgrace Pakistan and derail it to achieve its objectives. Please read Dawn News (a highly credible english newpaper of Pakistan) to see the coverage of the news. BTW, most of us are simply disgusted to hear the loss of life of innocent Christians in Pakistan. Its simply a shameful act by a bunch of cowards

There are numerous straight-forward passages in the Qur'an that exhort the followers of Mohammed to war:

"ISLAMIC TOLERANCE" is a myth and blatant lie. The position of dhimmitude was the requirement for non-Muslims to pay the jizyah, the religion tax. This was a tax levied specifically upon non-Muslims, usually Christians and Jews, which was the only life-preserving alternative to outright conversion to Islam.
Ibn an-Naqqash, a 14th century Egyptian religious teacher, recounted some of the opinions of early Muslim theologians,
"CHURCHES - It is related, according to the tradition, that the Prophet made this declaration: 'No churches are to be built in Muslim lands, and those that will have fallen into ruin shall not be repaired.' Another hadit is also quoted in his name: 'No churches under Islam.'
Umar b. al-Khattab (may Allah bless him!) commanded that every church that did not exist before the rise of Islam was to be demolished and he forbade the building of new ones. He also commanded that no cross was to be visible outside a church, otherwise it could be broken over the head of him who carried it.
Urwat b. Naj gave orders to destroy all the churches of San'a (Yemen). This is the law of the ulama of Islam.

Innocent Christians were burned to death by extermist Muslims for no reason. Where is the justice?
As a Pakistani American Christian, I am shocked that the Obama administration has not spoken on this issue and is not pressuring the Pakistani government to take action.
Pray for the Christians in Pakistan and pray that the world will take notice and take action against this unwarranted violence!
