Unbelievable!!! Some of you just don't know how to read. There's a semicolon in the following portion of the Constitution---No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;
neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
See it? Two separate and distinct sentences tied together! Further, a 'Resident' is different from a 'natural born Citizen' or a 'Citizen of the United States.' So, not only do you have to be a 'natural born citizen' you ALSO have to be at least 35 yrs. old and living here (instead of living abroad) for 14 years! Got it? If not, read it again sloooowwwly...
All you great legal minds should get your facts straight before you start spouting off like the word of God.
As for Obama, produce the Birth Certificate (long version) because, surprise!, it DOES make a difference where you were actually born. And you, a lawyer, know it!

It is Wednesday, the 12th of August, and Gibbs was once again asked about the Birth Certificate issue. This time he insinuated that many Americans are still not sure that Hawaii is a state. (Presumably, Barack Obama now knows that there are less than 57 states in the union.)
The real news that is being ignored is the release of a brand new KBC (Kenyan Birth Certificate) by Dr. Orly Taitz on Sunday, August 2, 2009.
There were two (2) great articles written on WND on August 10, 2009 regarding Natural Born Citizen Status in legal terms, and Divided Loyalty Logic in analyzing Obama's actions as POTUS thus far.
However, the White House Press Secretary would have us believe that the Birth Certificate Controversy is still in the realm of the misinformed and uneducated.
It boggles the mind to think that we would see the day when our free press media would ignore insults leveled at the American people by a corrupt and unethical administration, which by all accounts, seems cornered and desperate.
Journalism has taken a huge hit on Obama’s behalf: CNN’s Wolf Blitzer was showcasing Youtube videos of parodies on Sarah Palin, Fox’s O’Reilly is calling Obama a ‘smart guy’ because he appeared on his show, and ABC News now has contributed Linda Douglass to spread propaganda about Obama’s previous statements on healthcare!
When are our nations’ Journalists going to get their integrity back?

Let me inform you since you'd like to know:
I served in the 101st Airborne during the 1991 Persian Gulf War. My division attacked the 145th Iraqi infantry division. The fight, as you recall, was a route. We discovered, while mopping up the area, that the Iraqi's had chemical munitions loaded in the breaches of their Field Artillery pieces. I saw (first hand account/witness) the munitions in the breaches. So I can tell you, unequivicably, that the Iraqi's had WMD munitions.
I recall the US military disposing of WMD's when they were discovered during the Persian Gulf War.
Also recall, David, that Iraq also used WMD's on the Kurds and as well as on the Iranians.
Let me continue to take you down memory lane. Do you remember exactly what happened on 9/11 when planes flew into the towers? Do you remember the perpetrators of that horrific act were Arab fanaticals? Do you remember Osama Bin Ladin had ties to terrorist training camps in Iraq? Do you remember that there was no love lost between the United States and Iraq? Do you remember the UN resolutions that forbade Iraq from possessing WMD's? Do you remember how intel leading upto the Iraq war told us that they still possessed WMD's? Do you remember the myriad UN resolutions telling Iraq to come clean or else? Do you remember the UN WMD inspectors not being allowed/permitted open access to everything? Do you remember how those inspectors were ejected from Iraq? Do you remember how Iraq thumbed it's nose at the UN and the United States? And finally, do you remember how you and every other American sought revenge and demanded retribution?
How convenient, for you and other's to second guess with your 20/20 hind sight. I for one, am glad that Bush was not a milquetoast Commander-in-Chief who stood for principle rather than popularity!

Fringe nuts taste better roasted with honey glaze. They are non fattening and have a calming effect . They should be chewed until the taste is gone then spit out. never swallow a fringe nut.

OK, and you jerks believe there were WMD in Iraq and most of us knew it was a lie. So you were led down the path that brought this government into major red ink for no good or apparent reason. Obama was vetted far better over the years than you clowns who allowed the GOP and Bush to take us into an illegal and expensive (in terms of money and human life) war and all you can think about is something this silly. And yes we do think birthers are bigots, and frankly I never gave the birth of Palin's children a second thought, it's of no concern of mine. My concern is that she wasn't qualified to run the state of Alaska much less the country though I'd bet she be great sitting around a bar and throwing back some beers. I think she's a good human being I just don't think she was presidential material but who knows what time and maturity will do for her. Just explain to me why y'all gave Bush a pass on a destructive and illegal war but you're making these stupid noises.

Get real. There was little or no vetting done by either party. They'd rather deal with damage control and spin the tail on the donkey/elephant than properly "vet" a candidate. And that goes for Obama. He was and is a novelty item, a gimmick, that could rake in a bunch of money. His message of "change" was and is only an appurtenance to the color of his skin.
Did any of us really listen to what his "change" entailed or did we vote for a "change" of skin color in the presidency?
We all had our chance to "vet" Obama and we failed. Look what your vetting process got you. You all voted for a freshman senator who spent most of his lack luster stint in congress promoting himself and grandstanding to be president. You voted because the media told you how to vote. You voted for a man who never ran a business in his life and is now in charge of "running" one of the biggest employers in the world. You voted for someone who has never held an "executive" position in his life. You voted for a man who only knew the polished halls of the ivory tower elite. You voted for a man who is now the "community organizer-in chief." Be proud of your vetting process America.
We sure demonstrated the value of our expensive public school education.
I can't wait to hear the whinning and crying when your health care is replaced by a government bureaucracy, when your taxes surpass your net income, when there are more people on the "dole" than working, when you wake-up to find the "American dream" is now the "American nightmare", when the pursuit of happiness is now the pursuit keeping government out of your pocket and life.

Hey - I agree with what you said!
Why don't you write a letter to Obama and let HIM know America is at war. Let HIM know he should stop giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
I BELIEVE OBAMA!
He said he was born in Hawaii and I believe him!
He said he was born under the governance of British Law and I believe him!
If you believe him, you too, should have doubts that he can be a Natural Born Citizen while at the same time under the governance of British Law! He is NOT eligible to be POTUS! No wonder he doesn't know we are at war and he should stop apologizing and giving comfort to the enemy. They are our enemies, but not HIS!

All of these birthers need to ask themselves that. Both of these agencies vetted the President as being qualified to run for office. President Obama had to produce his birth certificate to enter first grade, get innoculations, enter high school, get a passport, enter college, run for public office in Illinois. It's been done, folks! Over and over. Now go out and get yourself a life.
