This is absolutely the PERFECT issue to underline to the average joe in the country just how nuts some of the right-wing fringe folks are.
No matter what anyone says, shows, proves, etc. these same small number of wingnuts will not believe it. They will say, "Oh but no, it is not proven until Obama does xyz."
It has been proven. Verified. By Hawaii, by the courts.
Newsflash weirdos: this is a non-issue and you and your fellow wingnuts are making complete asses of youselves.
But hey, keep it up! The more damage to the already splintered and wheezing GOP the better.

I can't conceive of it. Absolute sovereignty rests with the people. If they won't stand for it, on an issue of such core substance as selecting this nation's highest elected official, it won't happen.

As a patriot, I'm more than willing to "own" this issue. At least some of the people in this country still have working minds and know when something doesn't smell right.
All BO had to do was have his attorneys present his legitimate birth certificate to one of the judges in the many lawsuits regarding this issue, and have it studied by the judge and the plantiff's attorneys to judge whether it was authentic. How difficult would that be?
No, instead he hires attorneys to quell and get the suits dismissed. BO could resolve this easily, but he refuses, and there are a lot of people lying because the stakes are so great.
I imagine there is something else in there he is trying to hide. Maybe he was born in Hawaii, but maybe he has lied about who is parents really were or something else, which would be a big embarrassment to him. It certainly is one of the biggest probable hoaxes on this country. I suspect he is as corrupt as the day is long.

The most important issue, the main Homeland Security, National Security and Justice Department issue should be, Do we have a deceiver in the White House. Barack Obama is the best witness against himself; he has refused access to common documents on school records, passport, birth certificate, adoption information. He has loaded his administration with czars without background checks. We have a serious situation that we better solve while we can.
He was born in August 1961 and lived in the apartment of his grandmother in Hawaii from 1971-1979, much of his earlier 10 years were spent in Indonesia as a citizen there.
It does not matter is he was born in Hawaii, USA, his father was a Kenyan citizen giving him dual citizenship in Kenya a British territory. Then he was an Indonesian citizen when he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro. He was a foreign student in the USA apparently on a student visa from Indonesia when he attended school including Occidental College at 18 years old. These give him divided loyalties and dual citizenship, forbidden by the US Constitution.
His Selective Service Registration shows many irregularities apparently showing he caused it to be fabricated because at 18 years old he was not a US citizen and did not have to register. When he needed an sss registration for the campaign, evidence shows he had help producing one. I hear total monies spent are between $800,000 and a million dollars!

I've been voting Republican since High School.
Well, contrary to Peter's point, I told the Republican party to take hike when they came asking for money because they didn't raise questions.
Now, I'm getting stone walled by my Republican Senators and Represenatives. Where is the leadership?
Why do common folks who simply want answers are being denograted by the Dems, Republicans and press.
Why can't we patriots get this issue resolved? People (so called "birthers") just want to know that the Consitition is still the law of the land.

i dont think race has anything to do this dude, its a matter of meeting job requirements, just like my job, orhopefully your job (provided you have one in these tough times, thanks to our good buddies bush and obama).. and these requirements for the positon he applied for, he did not meet and actually falsified documentation to attempt to prove that he is. if my company found out i falsified information i would be terminated for falsifying documentation and in his policitcal office and being a federal lie that should carry some time with it?!?! anyone else?
