Obama’s Sinking Approval Ratings Are Even Worse Than They Look

It's no surprise to me that our Socialist-In-Chief's approval ratings are heading south. I have absolutely no sympathy for those who voted for this goofball liberal and are now asking themselves, "My God, what have I done?" The old adage holds true, be careful what you wish for. How did everyone think all the free "stuff" that he promised was going to be paid for?

After only six months, the president of Hugo Chavez's fan club has made attempts to nationalize our auto and banking industry, trashed the legality of written contracts, cozied up to despots, and humiliated the US overseas. And this is just a warm-up act. He will continue in his relentless quest to redistribute income by taking it away from those who are productive and just give it to those who are not (it does not matter whether one can, or wants to, be productive).

Just wait, this scary individual will attempt to nationalize utilities, and allow unions to grow so powerful they will run the country, because no one will be able to get anything done without union approval. Oh, and by the way, we will be attacked on our shores again, because he and his secretary of Homeland Security in drag, Janet "Jake" Napolitano, think veterans are a greater threat than the murdering muslims who are walking our streets.

My message to everyone who voted for this jerk is, I told you so.

Keep up the good work ,President Urkle! The grass roots are growing. After cap and trade, socialized health care, higher taxes and deficits;I believe you will go down in history as the Nero of America. As for the House and Senate majorities, expect that to last till the next election.Sheesh, lame duck after 2 years.Enjoy your retirement building houses with Jimmy Carter that fall down in 10 years.

Firstly, it covers illegal immigrants. The mere fact that nothing has been done to adress their presence here is bad enough, but to cover them with a national healthcare plan at taxpayer expense? What will be the deterrent from comming here illegally if that were to happen? I mean anyone with any medical ailment from another country could cross the US border to get free healthcare.

Secondly, it only stays competitive with the private practice so long as you stay at your current job, for as soon as you switch jobs, get laid off, get fired, try to start a small business or anything else, you have to get the government plan. This will cause fewer and fewer people to be able to use the private industry leading to insurance companies charging higher costs until they go broke and everyone is on the government system

Thirdly, Congress is exempt from this plan. This should raise red flags for everyone, literally. If it is so good for the public, why is Congress exempt? It reminds me of how the population was broken down in the USSR and in every other Communist dictatorship. You had the Communist Party leader, the 'king' and high ranking party members, the 'nobility,' living as such, while over 95% of the rest of the population, the 'peasants' lived as such. Now Obama and the far left would seek to use those same 'rules' if you like to the population of the US. We, the taxpayers being second-class citizens in our own country to the know-it-all bureaucrats.

It's no wonder Obama's numbers are dropping like a lead weight. He backs this while going back on all of his promises of transparency, posting the legislation online so the public could read it before it's passed, not raising taxes on people making less than $250,000.00 per year....the list goes on and on. I for one never believed those claims, however it got him elected into office--and now people are finally seeing through this BS.

Immigration analyst James R. Edwards, Jr. reported last week in National Review that “no health legislation on the table requires federal, state, or local agencies — or private institutions receiving federal funds — to check the immigration status of health-program applicants, so some of the money distributed via Medicaid and tax credits inevitably would go to illegal aliens.” Moreover, the Senate Finance Committee plan creates a new preference for illegal aliens by exempting them from the mandate to buy insurance.

That’s right. Law-abiding, uninsured Americans would be fined if they didn’t submit to the Obamacare prescription. Law-breaking border-crossers, visa-overstayers, and deportation fugitives would be spared.

Anyone that voted for this guy has got to be hiding their heads. I can't imagine a bigger impressionable, shallow-minded fool than an Obama voter. Such sheep that just wanted someone to tell them what they wanted to hear.

Unbelievable!

I give you people credit for admitting a very big mistake. I recently flipped my extremely liberal sister to actually saying "she is sick about voting for this guy". It takes a big person.

My bigger problem is those hard left ideologues who will defend this guy at every turn and blame all others for the crap happening around them. Starts with this media bias. (Read "The Slobbering Love Affair with Barrack Obama - Bernie Goldberg).

These people are destroying America by representing a one sided viewpoint. With this election it started when the New York Times endorsed John McCain. Since when does the mainstream considerably left wing publication tell the right who they will "tolerate" as their candidate?

I think it is fair to say that these asses in Congress and Mr Obama could be the beginning of the end for America.

My suggestion is to pick up your phone and continue to call your state reps. and tell them to vote "No" on U.Health Care. I called 4 of the state reps today and told them I was watching their votes......1-877-SOB-USOB.

It rings for awhile but be patient.

Christopher of GA 12:59AM July 23, 2009

How's that change looking now? Maybe next time you people will realize EXPERIENCE MATTERS! Sure I didn't like McCain in fact I hate the guy but at least I knew he wouldn't get into office and start telling everyone it was his way or the highway because "he won". At least his diplomats wouldn't be going around the world apologizing for everything right now. McCain's people wouldn't be telling me the reason I really dislike him is because I'm racist. Obama and his advisers are a bunch of grown spoiled kids that have the house all to themselves now. Enjoy it! Love it! It'a all on you now Obama voter.

I dread the next 4 yrs. it is frightening. IF he gets this absurd 'health plan' passed, I certainly hope it also applies to HIM AND ALL GOVT OFFICIALS. while we're at it, throw in their paying into SOCIAL SECURITY.
