Republicans Are Not the "Party of No" on Healthcare

momThe only concern on the Republican side is too keep the insurance industry rich, make sure they keep ripping off the taxpayer for the billions in subsidies they have been making the the last six years, thanks to the Republicans. The GOP is still the useless party of NO and will remain so since they cannot come up with one single original, productive thought. Sorry, I don't trust or believe anything the GOP comes up with. Why is it that the Republican members don't have a problem with a "government run" system of health care for themselves nor do the federal government workers have a problem with a "government run "Socialist" system. But they sure do have a problem with assuring that the rest of the nation has good health care---could it be that they want to make sure the Pharma/Insurance industry continues to bilk us while lining their pockets? Just asking!

Sen. DeMint - guess what - I WANT the government to run the health insurance system. I DON'T TRUST the private insurance companies to have my best interests at heart. I would rather trust a somewhat incompetent government bureaucrat that is drawing a regular salary than a an insurance industry bureaucrat whose salary is based on how much health care they DON'T give me.

My daughter spends over $15,000 per year. $2,000 won't cut it.

If other countries can do it, ie, provide health care for everybody, why can't we?

1) Average employer and employee premiums for a GOOD family plan total $12,000 a year, not $5,000

2) Making you able to buy a plan in any state means this jerk wants to repeal all the state insurance laws that protect YOU

3) Giving government "vouchers" means this jerk (again) wants your government to subsidize for-profit private insurers

4) Any mention of cost control on health care itself? No. Of course not.

Thank God you did not elect these guys in sufficient numbers that they can pass anything.

Correction GOP is not the party of no, they are the party of Hell No! Reading their drivel is a waste of time.

There has been no bipartisanship with this administration yet. Pelosi is the evil witch that should be terminated. She is the poster child for term limits because of the evil and lying that she has done in the past 4 years in particular.

It might not have numbers attached at the moment, but it least it doesn't have phony numbers to try and sell a bad idea. Lets work with a good idea and put some honest numbers on it. The problem is not that the GOP is the party of "NO" it is that the Dems are the party of it "Doesn't Matter What Costs" or if it will work just do it as quick as you can before someone checks the facts. Whats a little more deficit spending, after all the people that run the Treasury printing presses are all government employees and we don't want add to the unemployment.

4 pages and no numbers. About as reassuring as their numberless budget of a few months ago. Still the party of "NO," no ideas and no answers.
