You think this only affects the rich? You're dumber than you sound. Healthcare costs are skyrocketing for everyone, rich, poor and middle class. Except of course for illegals who under the president's amnesty policies. While it is wrong for doctors to refuse treatments, on the same token, they can't render services that cost more than they are paid for. If you knew anything about the medical system, the cost of medicines, the costs of the machinery to run scans and tests and everything else involved in saving your life, you'd understand that the government being stingy on what they pay for your services puts you the consumer at risk because the doctors can't provide services beyond their means.

If you havnt noticed we just cleaned the white house, and i think it's pretty clean. The only reason so many people are against it, is because it means higher taxes for the rich people.

I worked in a Rehab hospital. We are already seeing bad things as a result of this healthcare plan. The medicare issue. Most of our patients are elderly, they come in with strokes, hip re-placements, so on. Our goal is to get them strong enough to go home and live their live like they did before the injury. We succeed. Now, however, I don't think people realize what will happen and is already happening with obamacare. Medicare has already changed their rules to where they have set the bar so high on when and how hospitals get paid. Our patients do physical therapy, medicare pays us based on how much they do. The problem is, they are saying now that our patients have to do therapy whether they can or not or we dont get paid. We cant stay in business to help these patients if we do not get paid. We have had more code blues in the last month than in the last two years mainly because medicare is making us push these people before they r ready. It is very sad. So now what will happen is they won't come to us after their hospital stay, they will go straight to a nursing home to wither and die. Which means places like us, will not stay open and the elderly and also the younger will be lost. I don't understand how people can let this happen. And if people really do not think this is happening, think again.

Frankly, if Obama is involved, stay as far away as you can! He's already tricked everyone into believing he's a legitimate citizen, and few will stand up to this socialistic heathen. It's time for a Fire Sale, voting all of the wickedness of Congress and the Senate out of office. American's must no longer tolerate their personal agendas that we are paying for!
Take a look at this and just remember elections in Nov. 2010.
U.S. House & Senate have voted themselves $4,700 and $5,300 raises.
1. They voted to not give you a S.S. Cost of living raise in 2010 and 2011.
2. Your Medicaid premiums will go up $285.60 for the 2-years and you will not get the 3% COLA: $660/yr. Your total 2-yr loss and cost is -$1,600 or -$3,200 for husband and wife.
3. Over 2 yrs they each get $10,000
4. Do you feel SCREWED?
5. Will they have your cost of drugs - doctor fees - local taxes - food, etc., increase?
NO WAY. They have a raise and better benefits. Why care about you? You never did anything about it in the past. You obviously are too stupid or don't care.
6. Do you really think that Nancy, Harry, Chris, Charlie, Barnie, et al, care about you? SEND THEM THE MESSAGE- You're FIRED.
IN 2010 YOU WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO GET RID OF THE SITTING CONGRESS: Up to 1/3 OF THE SENATE, AND 100% OF THE HOUSE.
MAKE SURE YOU'RE STILL MAD IN NOVEMBER 2010 AND REMEMBER THEIR REPLACEMENTS NOT TO SCREW UP.
It is ok to forward this to your sphere of influence if you are finally tired of the abuse.
Maybe it's time for the Amendment 28
"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States."
Let's get this passed around, folks - these people in Washington have brought this upon themselves!!! It's time for retribution. Let's take back America.

I admire your opinions, however look to yourselves, what the people is doing to this country. We, as the people, as a whole use credit so much that we are outspending what we don't have and earn. We, as the people takes this land for granted, using resources beyond what is needed and to think that we would be able to stay like this for long periods of time. And some people, rely too much on the government for support and money due to the stupidity of them, being such lazy ass people. We, as the people, are very stubborn to change or to make this place better. I cry for this country, I am very frustrated, and hurt. By what we have done, and caused. And I cry for our children, our children's children. What have we done!! we have just gave all that burden to our future. How dare we, make such comments, and complain about everything. How dare we be so stubborn and prideful that our children, will bear the burden of their forefathers. How dare we, experiencing the "milk and honey" of this world and leaving our children with "bread crumbs". We have forsaken our childrens.
So i plead that before you start commenting away, think about our people first, what we have done, before and now. Think about what we caused to ourselves, and to other people to obtain our so called "Freedom". We never deserved this country because of how we forsake this land. A saying that we were so proud to say "God Bless America", i believe that in the end times, God will reign down his wrath upon us. We, as a nation will suffer more than any other nation in this forsaken earth. I pray that we can all change for the better. And i only hope that our future won't suffer because of our stupidity.

There has been a lot of opinions correlating the health care plan, and how it's going to benefit the people. I think that Obama is trying his best to help those that are in need, and to improve the life of every person living in U.S.A. However, as honest and concerned is obama, a work or a reform like that takes years, and lots of resources, not including the massive effort and work to get it started. I personally like obama as a president, not because of his plans, but he is a president i could rely on for solutions and answers. However, i'm not a perfect person, and to tell you the truth, this reform definitely pisses me off. But my opinions and beliefs are not enough to influence myself because as a citizen of this land, i have to think of a bigger picture, and that is our people. As much as it frustrates me, the president is doing the best he can, because first of all, we're screwed due to the recession, second, our people have tooooo much pride, third, some of our people are depending too much on the government for money, which makes it worse, and so on and so forth.
And Now because the president wants to help the poor, the future of medical field is going to be irritated because of this. I am one of them, i never cared about money at first, but this is going too far. Medical students go through tremendous amount of work, off and on record, having no vacation or real summer breaks starting from freshman in undergrad, and continously making an effort to be a great doctor, Hours of voluntary services, internship and help to the community, Hundreds of thousands of dollars put into school, the risk of loaning so much money, the endless school, and when you get to be a resident, low paying jobs, with unbalanced amount of hours vs. salary, the efforts, and such and on and on that we put in it. and the people that sue you for no reason but to only profit from it. And very high cost of our insurance, and taxes. So basically we are going to be screwed by that plan.
From that point of view, alot of medical students are risking so much for this country, and this is what they get in return....
This must mean that alot of medical students are starting to switch majors, well not really because it is our dream to become a doctor someday, save someone, and make somebody happy, even though are own future will be the exact opposite. but alas, we already have a shortage of doctors in the field, so if this plan will be implemented, there will be a major change in this country. and i hope that the dreams of those who wish to become a life saviour will not diminish in this world.

I dont know what you are thinking Crystal J. of IL & Maggie Kramer of NY, your Defiantly not understanding what would happen if the US Healthcare Plan is passed…
For one thing there is NO Such thing as FREE Healthcare, furthermore do you even know where the money will come from to Pay for such a thing? It will be the people in the US the normal tax payer!! If you want free healthcare that is your choice but I DON’T!! I have the right to say that I Dont want it either!! You both can pay more money out of your own pay if you want Free Healthcare!!
The US is a FREE Country, We are All Free to Make our Own Choices, that’s what Makes our country so Great and Wonderful!! So We “The People” Should have the Right to Say NO We Don’t want this Healthcare Plan!!
If you want Reform of the Insurance Companies, Fine, but that should NOT Be Run by the Government either!! Someone else should run that…
So if you don’t like the healthcare Plan in the US maybe you should live in a Country like UK or Ireland if you want Government run Healthcare, because This Land is a Free Country Unlike any where in the Whole World!!

I beleive that Obama's Health care will be an improvement for America. It will give most of us the care we need that some Americans's are missing out on right now. The plan is expensive because of the deficit we have been in for years now. We have to pay money for things that we really need and for things that will be valuable to America. We have to give Obama time to make things happen in America everyone is been so negative.His health care plan will be afforable, middle and lower class families will get the care they and it will build off the plan we have now which I do not thnk is that bad. Im not saying that it will fix all things there are somethings that can be better however I say give Obama a chance it wil be worth it.
