GOP Should Be Careful Criticizing Obama on the Bin Laden Raid
Tweet Share on Facebook April 30, 2012 Comment (8)Politics, Washington lawmakers once generally agreed, stops at the water's edge. In other words, politicians and candidates can fight all they want about budgets and taxes and social policy, but when it comes to foreign policy and national security, it's good to present a united front—at least publicly. Paul Ryan's Budget Inspired by Ayn Rand, Not Jesus Christ
Tweet Share on Facebook April 27, 2012 Comment (30)Republican politicians like to wear their faith on their sleeves and talk about their Christian values. But when it comes to practicing what you preach, the GOP has a long way to go.

Michael Gerson Doesn't Understand the Tea Party
Tweet Share on Facebook April 27, 2012 Comment (10)Michael Gerson’s Washington Post column Thursday is an unmitigated mess.
His first mistake is to take the rhetoric of the Tea Party—whose influence he associates with a strand of “Rejectionist” conservatism—at face value. He writes:

Talk of a Third Party 2012 Candidacy Grows
Tweet Share on Facebook April 27, 2012 Comment (25)Talk of a late third party presidential candidate keeps popping up among D.C. political pros who look at reams of polling data and other evidence and see an electorate anxious to cast a pox on both political houses in the form of an independent presidential bid.
