Tweet Share on Facebook November 5, 2011 Comment (6)The word in Washington today is that the so called supercommittee is "stalled" on the issue of revenues. Yet buried in all the coverage is that the Republicans would be willing to exchange revenues for entitlement reforms. Here's how Speaker Boehner put it, according to CBS

Romney, GOP Make Obama Lucky in His Enemies
Tweet Share on Facebook November 3, 2011 Comment (7)Rock, meet Hard Place.
Rock is the succession of farce candidacies that has marked the Republican presidential primary so far. Trump. Bachmann. Perry. Cain. It is no wonder that the likes of Gov. Mitch Daniels, Gov. Tweet Share on Facebook November 2, 2011 Comment (14)The Kardashians have won. They've beaten me. I spent years ignoring them, only wondering occasionally why so many people were interested in their frivolous lives—why anyone cared what they wore, or what they fought about, or whom they married. Mostly, I could not understand why a television producer would pay them to show the public exactly how uninteresting and banal their lives were, let alone why anyone would watch their so-called "reality" show.

For Israel, President Obama Must Stand up to UNESCO
Tweet Share on Facebook November 1, 2011 Comment (3)For a guy with as many problems as he already has, President Barack Obama doesn't need any more. That said the United Nations handed him a big one when it agreed to admit Palestine as a member state to UNESCO—the U.N. Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.
