The Republican members of Congress talk a great game about reducing costs until it begins to affect them, and then its another story. It is the PAC's and big contributors that really control congress because they are the one's that provide all the money to get elected and only a fool would believe they don't expect anything in return. I am not a fan of Mike Pompeo but he is right that a lot of you rub my back and I will rub your back is going on to get projects funded that have little real merit to the country as a whole. With regards to the Keystone project, I am more interested in protecting our water sources than getting more oil so I think President Obama did the right thing so far.
